I have been here a number of times with my husband and enjoyed it. Tonight I was dining alone and received very poor service, although the food (Asiago Baci) and apps were great.I understand many restaurants are short staffed, so I wasn't upset about things taking a long time. But I was disappointed that I was neglected as my server frequently checked in with the larger parties next to me but walked past my attempts to flag him down. I get it, bigger parties tip more so they get more attention, but it made ordering difficult.I was prepared to just chalk this up to a bad night, but near the end of my time as I was signing my bill and preparing to leave a different worker came over and rudely asked me to give up my table and move to the bar because she had a group waiting that needed my table. Without waiting for me to answer she reached down and picked up my umbrella next to me to usher me away with my things. I had my bill so I was able to leave, but I was kind of speechless - I waited my turn at the hostess to be seated just like anyone else, and if I hadn't been ignored I would have dined much more quickly and likely already gotten my bill and left by then.Edit: thanks Ray for your heartfelt apology and response.
Two of the three drinks were good, Old Fashion was not made correctly. Next round of drinks not so good, only one bartender, so maybe rushed the process. Ordered appetizer, but it never came. Never offered bread or dessert. Took over 15 minutes to get our credit card back. Dinners were the best part. Risotto with Perch- could have been less breading and no white beans, but risotto was cooked good. Goat Cheese Ravioli was great! Going to give it another try and see what happens.
This was probably the worst service we have seen at a restaurant. Waiting 15 extra minutes for a table we had reserved wasn't even our issue. When given a table, we sat there for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. Serving water took 10 more minutes. So that's 30 minutes since we sat down to get glasses of water. Soup that was served was luke warm at best. Appetizer we ordered was missing two items mentioned on menu. When we mentioned it, the items arrived 10 minutes later! Main courses were good though. During our entire meal, not one individual, neither our waiter nor the manager, stopped by to ask us how the food was and how we were doing. Desserts were offered to everyone around us, but not to us! I don't know what was motivating them NOT to take care of us. I am hoping this wasn't a racial bias. We were the only family of color at the restaurant at that time. Never going back there again! If that was their intent, then they won!
Great food, great service. Sometimes they have an off day, but I haven't experienced that in past year. So much better than Compari's! Best caesar salad dressing, hands down
We enjoyed a drink and an appetizer today. Nice setting. Our waiter Joe was great! Would recommend the meatballs!
Great restaurant for authentic Italian food. Delicious and light/ doesn’t make you feel heavy afterwards. I just wish it wasn’t so cramped in there feels like the tables are way too close! Fairly priced menu!
Had a 7pm reservation but showed up a little early. We were seated and someone quickly brought us bread. After sitting there for 25 minutes waiting to be brought so much as a water or even place a drink order, we got up and left. Plenty of tables around us were being served while we sat there like Bruce Willis in the sixth sense, completely ignored. It didn't appear to be busy since most the staff was just standing around. Overall the worst dining experience I've ever had and first time I walked out of a restaurant.
I'm a 1st born son of Italian immigrant parents there regular menu is good quality Italian food. I made reservations for 6:30pm for new years Eve. They had a small fixed menu & on top of that they were out of of 2 of there main entrees. The owner which we know personal tried to stretch one entree for three guys that's not how you make things rite! Very poor planing on there part! The waitress was very kind & a beautiful young woman. We paid $70 on a regular bottle of red wine & two appetizers. I think the owner Mr. Depalma should comp me a gift cirtificate to us for a regular dinner!!!
I absolutely love the food here and the family friendly elegant ambiance! I always feel welcome and I’m never disappointed!
Really disappointing especially given all the good reviews.Pros:- good location near downtown Plymouth- beautiful outdoor seating areaCons:- expensive- not many vegetarian menu options*vegetable gratin*: not good, some vegetables were overcooked while others were undercooked. It had no flavor except for the cheese.*Asiago pasta*: the pasta to vegetable ratio was off (as you can see in the photo)Overall, I was unhappy with the flavor of the food and that we paid a pretty penny for it. I won't be coming back anytime soon.
