Took my dad for his Birthday and had a great experience. Fast great service and the food is great if you're ordering the right meals. This was my 2nd time and I decided to try the Wallae with the lemon capers and it was amazing. Came with Red Skin Potatoes and Green beans. The great thing about birthday are they offer free desserts for the birthday person but they ran out of the cheesecake. Overall great food I plan on coming back and getting Texas Brisket sandwich again or something else they do well.
Delightful atmosphere as you dine in a large log cabin! Amazing menu selection and food is out of this world. Gluten Free Menu too: GF buns available. Unfortunately tortilla chips are not GF. Strange as this is an easy fix and many companies offer authentic GF tortilla chips! Steaks were awesome. Walleye was delish. French onion soup yummy. Spinach and crab dip a pleasant surprise! Staff was amazing as well. BBQ egg roll good, lots of cabbage with cut up pickles iodide. A definite place to dine!
This was our first visit for Mother's Day lunch and we plan to return when in the area. For starters we had lump crab stuffed mushrooms, which were delicious. The sourdough bread was fresh and warm. I had a caesar salad and my husband had a reuben. All of the food was tasty. Our server was attentive and support staff were friendly. The food runner who brought out our food handed the reuben platter to my husband and did not tell him it was extremely hot. I was a bit surprised at my husband's reaction, but after I felt the plate I wasn't surprised as it was really hot. The young guy apologized and it wasn't a big deal; hopefully he learns to be a bit more careful. He should have just set the plate down as well as told my husband the plate was hot. He seemed very young and new. Overall, we had a nice experience and are interested in returning for dinner in the near future.
Nice food (can recommend the NY strip steak with side of mac ‘n cheese and Brussels sprouts). Place could use a bit more parking space but a full parking lot is also a good sign. Friendly staff.
The best of the best. Peter and Louis have been honoring their parents legacy while building a substantial one of their own. They’ve turned an old historic stop on the the dinette circuit into a Plymouth culinary landmark. This is where you bring your family for the most special of occasions. Oh! And by the by: they kept the fires burning for carry out fine dining throughout the pandemic. The Polous Family are Plymouth royalty. ????❤️
My wife loves Reubens. She rates the one here as probably the best. The bonus today was the outstanding service by Austin.
First I’d like to say that our waitress Kathryn was the best server we’d ever had. She was attentive and professional. The big disappointment was the beef tenderloin tips and the pork Wienerschnitzel were so over salted that it was almost inedible. We had to mix it with the mashed potatoes just to be able to eat it and it was still not good. I paid over $450 for what was a family dinner to celebrate our daughters graduation and it was a huge disappointment.
We had a wonderful experience at the bar with food service! My husband and I were able to walk right in and be seated at the bar even though the restaurant was completely packed. Two lonely seats were waiting for us in a probably less desirable spot right in front of the wait staffs drink service station. That didn't matter to us at all. We enjoyed watching the bar tender create absolutely fantastic drinks for other patrons. The bar tender is very skilled, kind, and patient! Our service was promptly, and the food was hot and delicious! Our all-around experience was excellent! My husband and I will be creating this same exact date day again very soon! Thanks to Karl's Cabin for making our day!
Excellent service by Erin, our server. She was very attentive, polite, and had a positive attitude. Every employees there appeared to be working very hard. The food came out relatively quick, was very hot, and was exactly what we expected! It was very very good, including the dessert. The pieces of cheesecake are HUGE! A little pricey or course, but you get what you pay for. So worth it. Definitely coming back.
