I really like this place - really slept on in Plymouth. Not all the food is great, but they have a couple gems. Namely their white sangria and ribs. They also have trivia nights!
Absolutely Awesome! The food & drink we're Great. The Oberon beer fantastic, great waiter! We arrived at a great time like maybe 4:00p or 4;45p so it wasn't super crowded until later. We had plenty of booths, tables, bar area to select to sit at; lots of space at the 4:00p hours. We were greeted at the door & seated promptly! Thank You♥️ E. G. Nick's keep up the fine work?!!
We went for a quick bite on Friday evening and it was a good choice for a classic bar dinner. Food was enjoyable (I had the baby back ribs) but due to the crowd it was difficult to get the attention of the staff which unfortunately also resulted in our starter arriving together with our main course. Atmosphere was nice however (live trivia game was a free bonus) and we enjoyed the evening.
What a gem! When first walking in my first thought was it was just a regular bar but that opinion changed quickly. From the food to the drinks everything we ordered was superb! The chef clearly knows what he is doing. The flavor pairing in each dish we tried blew our minds! Our server was very friendly and we never wanted for anything. I don't know about the mens bathroom but the women's bathroom was immaculate and so well stocked, I felt like they cared about me as a person and not just another customer. WOW! ?
I don't know who made the menu, but they know their flavors. The deepfried brie was served with a raspberry sauce that brought the appetizer to another level. I went out on a limb and tried the Bourbon Pot Roast Nachos as my main dish, and was blown away by the flavor and tenderness of the meat. I hope this place pays their chef WELL. Also, the ladies bathroom was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with items that a woman might need on a night out.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally we got a chance to come by. Man was the food delicious! There was some sort of issue with their liquor license, so they weren’t serving alcohol, which worked in our favor, because we got right in! Our server, Alan, was friendly and polite and on top of things. We ordered the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and my only complaint is that there weren’t more! They were so good, and that alone will bring me back. They were slightly spicy, but not over the top. Then I ordered the chicken piccata, which was served in a big bowl. It was creamy and perfect, and I was completely satisfied. That can be a hard dish, too watery, no capers, not the right sauce, but this place has it down!y husband got the pot roast nachos, which were huge and he ended up taking half home, they were amazing as well. Big, thick pieces of roast and nice toppings. Very good. I would highly recommend coming by, and we will be returning.
Went for our anniversary on New Years Eve, food was delicious. The complimentary bread, the spinach and artichoke dip, the lamb, prime rib, house salad, chicken gumbo, lava cake, and drinks......all delicious ? ?. Glad it was my last meal for 2021. Service was excellent as well!!!
Used to love coming here. Service has really declined. Waited 30min to be seated, 15min before anyone acknowledging us. Ended up leaving because it takes just as long to get a drink order. Food is pretty good, but not worth that wait.
This place has a great atmosphere, there are different themed nights. Some nights are trivia nights, a great social spot with a great soundtrack. Currently the restaurant is dressed to the nines in Christmas decor, including the mascot Alpheus the alligator. All the wait staff was really friendly and polite. The spinach artichoke dip was great on flavor, they just skimped on chips.
Only stopped in for pre-show cocktails.Good location, nice aesthetic, and a nice whiskey selection. Our bartenders were engaging. One was able to share interesting tid-bits about the various whiskeys...Made plans to return for dinner.Recommend you give it a try.
