We held a 25th anniversary party at Campari's last week and it was unbelievably good. Our original venue cancelled on us 2 hours before it was scheduled to start due to a building problem. Campari's stepped up and agreed to host us. They successfully replicated the appetizer and dinner menu we originally had planned. In less than 90 minutes, they set up the room (in the old Fiamma space), arranged for staff, prepped appetizers, salads, mains and desserts for 43 people! The food really was fantastic, but the service and hospitality might have been even better. From the bar service to the exceptional wait people, everyone was raving about how professional, friendly, efficient and attentive they were. A special thanks to Meghan, Jeff and Kim for their efforts. And also to the management staff - Julia and Ryan. Simply amazing and we cannot thank them all enough. What could have been a disaster turned out to be a phenomenal evening. All of this was pulled off despite the restaurant having its usual busy Thursday evening crowd in the normal restaurant space. Truly unbelievable.
Service was 5/5, the hostess and our waitress were fantastic and attentive. The hostess had us seated on a Friday night without reservations in under 30 minutes. If only the food was as fantastic.At approximately $20 per dish, you would expect food that would be carefully presented and delicious. Instead, you are given thoughtless food that leaves you disappointed. I can only relate the food to what I might find at Costco Wholesale frozen section. The Florentine Ravioli was purchased and mass produced at Costco, with a Prego sauce that was waterdowned. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo contain bone, cartilage, no salt and overcooked pasta.5/5 service0/5 food
Started with some great bread, toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. They have oil and balsamic for dipping, if you want. You choose from soup or salad before your main dish. There were lots of options on the menu, meat or meatless. We were not disappointed with our first visit and it won't be our last. It's a great location across from the park and would be perfect outside in the warmer weather.
The food is amazing but it isn’t worth the horrible service I received on Wednesday night. We went out to celebrate my friends wedding and we had the worst service. Kristin was awful. She was slow and very forgetful. We didn’t receive our dinner till 2 hours in. I will never dine in again, only carry-out. I want to know who interviewed her. Yikes.
Amazing food excellent Service
I really like Compari's. The consistency hasn't been good lately. Some meals are fantastic and the service is great. Weekdays the service and food is not as good but I blame covid. I keep going and support them. They do cook the best scallops!
What happened to the pizza??? It use to be crisp and a great, traditional this crust. Now, it's not done, thick, doey. Wow!! Just not good. So disappointed and upset that one of the best pizzas, by far in Plymouth has fallen apart.Just another place the pandemic killed.
First time trying the restaurant with friends and ended up disappointed after hearing recommendations for the place. Service wasn't the best. I order the linguine pescatore, my wife order the white fish, and friends ordered veal. We also order various wines. It took quite a long time for the food to come out and the dishes were lukewarm. The white fish was the best. My linguine came with 4 mussels, 3 shrimp, and 1 scallop. Came off skimpy and the flavor was bland. Unfortunate.
I love visiting this place with my girlfriend! Jeff gives amazing service, always makes us feel special, and makes amazing food and wine recommendations. We always wait for a table with Jeff. Highly recommend getting the calamari steaks half and half.
We went here on Christmas Eve for dinner. At first it didn’t look promising as we had no waiter for 15 minutes. After politely telling the host we received no attention, we immediately got by far the best server (Jeff) & service! Not only did we get exceptional service, we also had a fantastic meal!Compari’s will get our business far more after the wonderful experience we had!
