What happened to good old buddy's pizza?!Service a great with a very pleasant staff.Salad was as I remembered it, tasty and fresh.The pizza. Oh man. What happened here? We ordered 4 different pizzas. All coming out the same way. Hardly any sauce. Crust wasn't very crispy, with some pieces being undercooked. Not hot at all, which made the cheese kind of rubbery. And it wasn't busy at all.This was the Plymouth location, so I hope the other locations are better. I would hate to see a great Detroit tradition slip away. C'mon Buddy's!
A nice sit-down pizza place, but it has some issues with service. Half of our order ended up delayed by almost half an hour for some reason. The food is good and reasonably priced.
We're done. We've been trying to like this location since they opened; hoping they would get their synergy on after being open a bit. I'm tired of getting pizza's under cooked- too much sauce or too little sauce, lukewarm... we will order from the other locations now or somewhere else.I will add- do they deserve 1 star per say? No. But the overall average is too high.
I hate not giving Buddy's a 5-star rating, but this specific location seemed more like a modern diner to me. My friend and I stopped in for some salad, pizza and bread. Food was as great as all other buddy's. And the service was wonderful. But the place was cold and extremely loud. Could barely have a conversation. I found myself missing the cozier, warmer atmosphere with all the booths at the previous Buddy's I went to.I guess, my advice for this one would be to order carry out.
Food was great pizza is out of the world! But some issues like the wait time but it is worth it as the toppings and the dough are heavenly. Hope they continue getting customers would love to see this restaurant all over the world!
Bartender was awesome - AlwaysSuper nice, friendly and prompt. Nice bar atmosphere. Take out order was terrible. Nothing was on the Italian sub sandwich but meat and cheese with 5/6 fries with it. Check your take out order before you leave.
Our group of 5 had a delightful dinner last Sunday. Didn't get our servers name, but she did an outstanding job taking care of us. Our salad, bread sticks, pizzas, and brownies with icecream excellent.

Stopped in a week ago on a Saturday night around 7 with 6 others. Lots of people in the dining room but we got seated right away. Lots of large parties of people with lots of young girls. Something must have been going on at the local arena or dance academy. It took awhile for our server to come by and she explained that she had just gotten 3 tables of 6 people to serve and she would be right back. She was running the whole time we were there. Everyone ordered pizza or pasta and drinks. Drinks came out pretty quickly. Entrees came out shortly after. now in my experience you either like Buddy's pizza or you don't. All of us do. Great crust, nice sauce, nice variety of toppings, and pretty consistent. All of them true for our meal. Not a bad experience but I felt sorry for our server. Had to cut her some slack due to her workload. Like every Buddy's I have been too they are busy on the weekends so be prepared. A go to place in my book.
