Excellent food and fast carryout service. From time of order to getting my food-15 minutes. Ordered the combo meal with 2 hard shell tacos, rice, refried beans and a side of pico de gallo with a strawberry margarita. Also ordered strawberry cheesecake chimichangas for dessert. Dinner came with chips and salsa. Use the side door for carryout orders then walk straight to the bar.
Service was friendly and the food was good. The chimichanga meal was delicious as well as the beans and rice served with it. Great portions for the price. Salsa served with the chips was a bit spicy, but overall will definitely look for more On The Border restaurants when traveling.
Crispy Chicken Chimichanga dinner, Combo dinner with three Enchiladas and a hard shell taco. The melon margarita was tasty as well!Delicious! Our waiter was fantastic!
I went for a co-worker's going away lunch and it was my first time in the restaurant. It was clean inside and the waitress was friendly. I tried the spicy chorizo quesadillas and they were great! I ate a seemingly endless amount of chips and salsa as I was waiting for my meal. Overall it was a great lunch.
Delicious Mexican food, rightly portioned. Clean place with friendly staff. Complimentary chips & salsa was so good. Also, I liked their queso, cocktails and al pastor.
Nicole was our waitress and also hostess, busboy and dishwasher. Hard working. Staff so very short. Prices still same of course although the service cannot possibly be up to par for the dining experience people hope for. Nicole did her very best and maintained a good attitude for the diners. Left a good tip for her as she deserved it and more.
To rate this restaurant accurately it would be -5 stars. I rarely review, but this experience was absolutely trash. I placed a To-Go order 30min In advance. I arrive on time and there’s no order on the shelf. I gave it 10min before inquiring. I couldn’t spot an employee anywhere in the restaurant so I called. Rep answers and says she would meet me at the front with my order. Another 5 min pass & I don’t see anyone. I had to walk almost in the kitchen to find help. A waitress finally comes out and I ask her for assistance. She goes to supposedly check on my order and never returns. Finally the manager (who was a joke) comes out and says my order should be coming up next. Totally different then her meeting me at the front with my order. She never apologizes or advises of a delay. The staff was so poor. I waited at that restaurant for 30 min before getting my order. Get home and there’s items missing, food over cooked, and cold (I live 7 min away), the food had obviously been sitting, so what was I waiting for all that time? Also, the restaurant was pretty much empty so they weren’t busy. One of the worst experiences at an establishment. Save yourself the trouble and money, go some where else!!!!!!
Never been to on the border before, and after getting some gift cards decided to try it out. You could see the restaurant was kind of run down and not in its formal glory, but the waitstaff were trying really hard so props to them. The food was really good and fresh for some chain tex-mex.Grading this a 5 stars on the basis of hope that they make it! Maybe have all the high up corporate OTB workers actually lend a hand....
Really Disappointed! Been going to OTB for yrs..now only the prices r really high n the quality terrible. Ordered my usual classic chicken fajita...chicken n peppers were cold...unseasoned n cold..not happy. On the other..when I dined in a few weeks ago..it was pretty good...not like it used to b...but not bad..I love the food here..but will have to stop coming if this continues
2 hours for a carryout and completely unattentive bartender. She disregarded me the entire time and had no business being behind the bar. I personally will never be going back and will be telling everyone I know not to go here. What a absolute waist of time and energy.
