We did not know that Olgas turned into a fast food restaurant. Can you say McD? We entered the Novi location and looked for the hostess. None existed. We got called over to the counter and was asked to place our order. I said, "We have not sat down yet". I was told to look up at the menu hanging by a chain. I told the cashier, "We are done". No time to discuss what we would like. I have a disability, with a cane. I am not interested in carrying anything to my table. That is why we go out to eat, to be served! We will not be back.
Fries were very over seasoned, snackers were burnt, $9 for chicken sand that was only a tender in a pita. Now you order then have a seat, someone brings it to you & you clean your own table before you leave.

Sweetest staff!!! I picked up a to go order last night from Olga’s. I was having a bit of a bad day and when it came time for me to pay, I guess the manager kind of picked up on that. He decided to put my whole meal on the house and it made my whole day. Kindest gesture ever:))
Very disappointed in olgas. I ordered their turkey club and I got 1 piece of turkey, cut in half, moved to either end of the olga, with lettuce filling the entire middle of it. Quality has gone down here and it's no longer sit down dinning. It's lunch room style feel like ordering at Boston Market. Super disappointed and I'm NOT paying for a lettuce sandwich!
Haven't been to an Olga's in a long time. So surprised how much improved the menu is. The snackers are scrumptious. The staff was very attentive. They all were so friendly. Definitely will go again.
Place is hit or miss. Sometimes food is ready on time for carry out other times you end up waiting another 25 minutes. My order was to be ready by 6:40, end up waiting another 20+ mins because they missed a broccoli soup that took them far too long to microwave. Another order right after mine was missing a sandwich. Dining room is constantly closed early due to staffing issues.
New system, same below average customer service. The place was dirty and slow. Olga's always has had a niche locally and admittedly I occasionally enjoy Olga's however I was not impressed by the new system or the overall cleanliness of the establishment.That is my opinion. I acknowledge many people enjoy waiting in lines and don't mind cleaning tables before they sit down- truth is I think with Covid many prefer it, this may become the business model of the future.
I don't consider this a restaurant anymore. Its a McDonalds feel with better food. You order everything from a list at the counter. Prices went up, amount of food went down. Sticky, dirty floors. Sure hope it's just this location because we use to go to Olga's once a week before we moved out here. Will not be back. Food was still decent and employees were nice for the 30 seconds you interact with the.
They have a new system now due to being short staffed, but it was a well oiled process. Marlene was great! She seemed to be running the place! She was very helpful and explained how the new processes worked. We went at 2pm and got our food quickly. Food was hot and fresh. I actually didn’t mind the new system. Number at your table, get your own drinks and they bring food out to you in a carry-out / to go fashion.
