This place is soooo good! The Tonkatsu ramen is everything you need to warm your soul… flavor is on point … pork slices just melts in your mouth..??? Also order the Demi glaze pork katsu over rice. It was flavorful but my favorite rice dish is their Bulgogi Don dish!!! Soooo yum!!

Some of the best Ramen in town! Great portions, fast service and amazing food. Katsu chicken also did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back.

My "go to ramen spot" in the Novi area. The Shoyu is tasty, but my new favorite is the "Spicy" Tonkotsu. The Tonkotsu is solid on its own, but upping it to the spicy version takes it to a whole new level!! Let me also add that the service is always friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is always super clean. Highly recommended.

Noodle was delicious and service was good too.

A great spot, really pleased. Very good classic tonkatsu ramen, also got the "chic chic" ramen which is a chicken base and has a full slab of chicken katsu paired with it.It's a very good "intro" ramen place, with some good americanized options, but also has the classic miso, shoyu, and of course, tonkatsu. This place definately deserves to have more people eating here! Definately the best ramen around, much better than the slurping turtle chain, and in my opinion, the popular Tomokun in downtown Ann Arbor.

If you want authentic Japanese food in metro Detroit, Hotaru is the best place to go to. Great staff too. You won't be disappointed.

OMG soooo goood!Love the curry rice so much! The beef was so tender with a little bit sweet. Love it!

Amazing !!! Go check them out !! Came here before going to the U of M hockey game and their customer service was great !! Included mochi as a gift from the chef after our meal We are going to be coming back very soon ! Wish they were closer to where we live

Great place to have a traditional ramen. Tonkontsu ramen’s broth is delicious and the side dishes are good. Gyozas are the best.

Under the new ownership but that is for good I guess because food was delicious. Decor has remained pretty much the same! We went for lunch and had champon ramen which is full of seafood in spicy broth. Everything was great with spice hitting the right levels, right enough to complement the flavor but not hot enough to make you sweat go for cold milk. We had shrimp tempura and that was great too!
