This restaurant feels like home to me. I grew up with a Korean mother and grandmother who married my father in the military. I love their food. It's always fresh and traditional. I hope more people come try it. It's slightly more expensive then the average Japanese cuisine place but it's worth it because it's actually Korean. They also carry Cass beer ?. I couldn't be more happy with them and my experience. I've been here 6times now every other Saturday waiting for a mishap, but they always give best quality of service. They also have grilling at the table with a griddle. The meat quality is outstanding and as fresh as it gets.I didn't realize there were so many people upset that this place has a different name then before. I think it has a new owner and it really isn't their fault since they don't speak English and mainly Korean. They're incredibly hard working and it's a shame so many people are inconsiderate to this unknowingly. I will express this to them and try to bring it to their attention since they seem to be unaware of it.I would also like to address that in Korean culture just like in Japanese, they can seem cold or distant but really they're very respectful and just introverted in most cases. Please try to be understanding to another cultures ways and not just their food when exploring outside of our normal realms of culture. Thank you for reading. I hope more people can give this place a chance in the future.

Food overcooked and overpriced. Korean fried chicken was dry and difficult to chew. AND THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATES WITH HOLA SEOUL IN ANN ARBOR!!!

? this place is a complete mess and I won't be back. I do not recommend a visit.1. You get there and can hardly find the place because it's under a different name. Hola Seoul had no exterior sign and is INSIDE a kbbq sit down restaurant, except guess what? The hola part is carry out!? (Or maybe just carry out for ppl who look like me? ??‍♂️) Um...ok?2. Next, the menu price they post on their window and on Google are completely off. They deceptively increased the price by $2+ dollars on all their items without saying so or changing the menu to reflect that, so that you order and are left holding the bag. Other reviews have also written this and it's true. Also check my reciept pictured below. This is unacceptably deceitful.3. Service at the counter is cold. Server/cashier is rushed and makes sure you don't feel welcome. Atypical of a Korean establishment.4. Food is hit or miss. The kimchi fries were cold but the popcorn chicken was pretty decent which is the only reason I'm giving it above one star.Bottom line: there's plenty of Korean restaurants in the area. Save your money and safe your time -- don't bother ordering food from Hola Seoul. ????

I had not heard of Hola Seoul before and tried it on a whim - it was delicious! I will definitely order again and I plan to bring some to my friends! I used GrubHub. I had the Seoul Giant Vegetable Dumplings, Red Bean Buns, and Duk Bok Ki.

Apart from the food being beyond mediocre and subpar. They charged me 10 dollars over the menu price and claimed they didn’t change online menu pricing as yet, this was a few months ago and they still haven’t changed the menu price online. Plus they have two business names under this location one is Dae Jung Keum and the other is Hola Seoul. I don’t know what scam they trying to run but charging as you please when the customer comes to collect their food is totally unacceptable.

My friend and I ordered from the Novi location; shareable korean corn dogs , with a quantity of four, menu describes cheese and sausage. All four corn dogs did not have the sausage included just cheese, fries taste frozen.

Too confusing. Called the place because it says virtual. Girl says no you can order here. The place in novi has a different name. Then she says I have to order onlinePlaced order…TO THE PLACE IN ANN ARBOR. Ask her to cancel. She says she can’t. Called aa numbers. No answer at either place after multiple calls. Good news went to pho lucky 2 doors down. Great food.Won’t be fooled again. Called credit card company to protest charge from hola Seoul.

How did I not know about this place? Really great Korean Fried Chicken - the wings are decently sized. Had a 20 minute ride home and they were still crispy. Quite easy to order online, and when one item was unavailable the owner called to let me know and immediately refunded the difference. Just wish it were closer to me!

First time here, got some great take out! Very impressed!
