I had a great first experience. Upon walking in the staff were very nice, finding me a place to sit after I ordered a takeout sushi roll so I wouldn't have to stand and wait. The roll was made very quickly and tasted good. The entire time the staff made sure that all was well. The inside has a very fun Japanese aesthetic too. Overall it was a good experience, good food, and nice staff and restaurant. I will come again when I visit Novi again next year.
Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service. Great for a family night for dinner or a relaxing night with great variety.

Food was excellent. Authentic Japanese food. But I must they are facing staff shortages.Owner should hire somebody soon to help sweet poor lady. Nevertheless, a must visit!!
I’ve been in Michigan for 5 years and it’s a shame that I just made my first visit here today. I guess this place is somewhat close to what an authentic Japanese Izakaya is and they offer wide variety of Japanese foods from small portion dishes to entrees. I ordered tako (octopus) wasabi, yaki tori(chicken) soft-shell crab, tonkatsu and they were all great! Tonkastu was super impressive. Can’t wait my next visit.

First time here, waitress keep saying sorry to everyone, waited long time for service, got no napkins, got no chopsticks for sushi, shrimp rempura was 2 jumbo shrimp, 4 pc of deep cried veggie, i small ball of rice, $20. Waitress talking foregn language and laughing, i dont know at what. Not a wellcome atmosphere. NEVER AGAIN.
