This place was sooooo cozy and nice. Seating on the patio was very close but I felt comfortable and everyone seemed to be able to maintain the privacy of their conversations. The food was great and I loved that I could pair wine with a charcuterie board. The garlic shrimp was a slam dunk. The pink diamond drink was great. I would definitely come back, such a nice little spot!!
The food was ok. Not a wow though. The Brussel sprouts were good but a little dry. With one beer the bill was 36.00. In opinion it was not worth it. I can't even remember what I had ordered. Do have a photo. The Ceasars salad was not a eow either. Good, just not a wow. We were seated out in the enclosed patio. The overhead heater cooked my head as we sat under it. Pretty warm.
@diamondjimbradysbistro Met one of my clients/ friends for lunch. Great bistro feel, upscale sandwiches and great apps . We got the garlic sautéed shrimp, the lobster roll and the chicken salad sandwich. Each had a great presentation and food was plentiful. Great spot in Novi Michigan
The Tatziki Chicken Bowl with roasted beets, Kalamata olives and tatziki sauce was excellent! Enjoyed chatting with two gentlemen who are regulars. The bartender did a great job taking care of everyone at the bar!
Met an old friend for dinner. Had a reservation and was immediately seated. Calamari appetizer was the best I've had. John chose Steak Coullet. Done perfectly, and I opted for Fish & Chips. Service was good and all together it was a great experience.
I stopped in for lunch on Wed Feb 16th at 153pm. Madeline was a horrible waitress, probably the worst ive had in a ling time. It took her a long time to greet me. I get annoyed when the waitress doesnt write an order down, because thats when i think mistakes happen. I ordered the chicken wings and took a long time to arrive and you could tell she left them in the window for awhile. I had also placed an order for the buffalo prime rib sandwhich, it took forever to arrive and this was basically a roast beef sandwich that was very salty and dry, I wish it would have said sliced roast beef definetly not prime rib. I could have gotten a lot better roast beef sandwhich at arbys for fraction of the cost. $15 for wings that were horrible garbage and $15 for a salty dry roast beef sandwhich fthat i wouldnt feed to my dog. I even emailed the restaurant about the horrible service I received from madeline and the quality of the food and they didnt even care to reply back..
Got the borsin chicken ceaser, apple cider sangri and the creamy onion.All I could taste in the drink was the ginger beer. The salad had a lot of dressing on it making it heavy not bad though and the chicken was not bad either but didn't compliment the salad since it was a veggie borsin cheese. Soup was very heavy and creamy but not a lot of complexity in flavor.Serving was good and friendly.
Food was great and our server had a wonderful personality. Not excited about the enclosed outdoor seating although it was warm. In general a good experience.
The luncheon portion of the Scottish Salmon was delicious and reasonably priced. The waitress was pleasant and funny. I 've visited the one in Royal Oak several times but this was only my second visit to the Novi location. I will be going back.
Great food, great service and a friendly owner. Small venue that doesn’t take reservations, but one of the best options in Novi away from the large chain restaurants.
