The food and service are always excellent. I was disappointed to get back to Detroit from Novi to realize I was given the wrong drink though, mistakes happen.
I love their waffle fries. They have really good chicken.
The drive through was very efficient. I am very pleased with the young man that took my order. It was very cold outside and he still hade a very positive attitude and was reading back orders at a fast pace. I asked him his name he said his name was Noah. He looked like he was 14-15 years old! I also got my order 100% correct and it was hot and ready as soon as I got to the window. Everyone is doing a amazing job!
Food is good but the parking lot is an absolute pain to get in and out to try to park. 80% of it is blocked off for access to the drive through. And the small parking lot that is available is only one way. So if there are no spots you have to back out of the lot. And if you accidentally get into the drive through you can't get out of the drive through line. It makes me avoid coming to this chick fil a.
The car line was outrageously long combined with labor storage and you have 1.5 hour wait. Once in line there is no way out of the line... high frustration! The food was excellent.
Chick-fil-A has the friendliest staff, no matter what state. I've eaten here at several different locations in several different states. I have to say the company must do some superior and consistent quality training from store to store to make all visits so pleasurable. ?
We got a chicken sandwich combo and a spicy chicken sandwich which was good, not great and tried the chicken tortilla soup for basically $5 a cup ($8 for a bowl) and it tasted like canned soup and had no tortilla strips. Service was great but bummed about the soup. Was excited to try it and expected better.
The chicken nuggets were great, I don't think I've ever had better from a fast food place. Ditto for the waffle fries. The inside was closed and the drive-thru lines were extremely long. I was impressed by the speed at which the lines moved, but our wait was still more than 30 minutes. Also, drive-thru orders were being taken by an attendant who stood outside using a hand-held computer, but she was a few cars in front of the menu, which I was unfamiliar with. She explained that they expect customers to review the online menu, but there was no signage to indicate that.
Well worth the wait. Food was good and hot. The young man that was outside taking orders really did and acceptable job to be out in the cold. I will come back if I'm out in the area.
Chick-fil-A is known for long lines but this one is significantly slower than usual - it took about 30 minutes to get my food; no chicken sandwich is worth that. Also the food was cool when I got it. Not cold, but "this has been sitting in the bag for a while" temperature. Staff was super cool, but I'm not going to wait in that line again for fresh food.
