Great food. appetizer were nice. Real star was of course the Detroit Style pizza. First time for me - but not really as it was quite close to Sicilian pizza I had from a Sicilian neighbor back in Germany. Tasty!
The food was very good & Joe took great care of our 7 person party.

Tasty! The pizza is good - great flavors - and it’s a good price. I ordered the margarita pizza, and while it’s not exactly traditional, it was very good. The brownie sundae was great too!
I was at the Novi location for a birthday party for my little grandson. The antipasto salad is the best I have every had. Our server was pleasant considering we were a big party. (she did forget a few things). The reason I am giving 4 stars is that I ordered an 8 slice pizza with ham, pepperoni, and green pepper unfortunately there was ONE....I kid you not ONE pepperoni on the pizza. However, we will be back. :))
We stopped there for dinner and Jamie was our waitress. Our son has a dairy allergy and I inquired about the chicken tenders and she knew exactly what had dairy and didn't. It was such a breath of fresh air and he was able to enjoy pizza, which he hasn't had out before so he loved being able to eat what mommy and daddy were eating. Thanks Jamie for being so aware of the menu items and providing a great service!
We really like Buddy's. The waits are not terribly long, the food is delicious, and the hosts and servers are friendly, attentive, and more than competent. Even on a crowded night we didn't wait long for anything we ordered, and anytime we needed anything our server would appear. Tons of pizza options plus other fabulous dishes. Good beer selection, too.
Pizza was decent but hilariously over priced. I ordered a Spicy Italian and it barely had any toppings on it, maybe two small strips of onion and almost no sausage whatsoever.Not sure why this place is so highly recommend when it's $10 more than some of the equally good competition.
Came here for my daughters birthday and everything was perfect. Collette was on point and kept the kids happy w/ cherries and refills a plenty. Been going to Buddys for 30 years and the food and service is always great. a Detroit staple for sure. Thanks for making our special birthday celebration even better.
Great service by Joe! Very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, as always, and reasonably priced.
