I’ve ordered Benito’s from this location for my family every Friday night for a couple of years, but no longer. Tonight, I was doing yard work when the delivery man arrived (who I tipped 9.50 online for a simple order) and berated me for the fact it took him 10 minutes to find my house and his opportunity cost. In the last 100 deliveries there’s been no issue. To add insult to injury, the delivery man left by swerving off my driveway into an area I had just paid this morning to hydroseed, ripping up the efforts and forcing significant costs to fix. It’s been real Benito’s. Back to Jet’s I guess.
Our favorite place for pizza in Michigan. Amazing crunchy yet soft crust. Good ingredients.
Really good pizza and Benito bread. Wings are good as well. I especially like the garlic parmesan sauce.
Orders are usually correct, hot and tasty. I've tried the subs, pizza and pasta. The lasagna is pretty good. Alfredo is a little bland. Delivery can take a long time, depending on the day. You need to be careful about adding too many moist ingredients to avoid soggy/greasy pizza and sandwiches.
It's my go-to pizza when in from Chicago. Nothing else compares. I love nearly everything on the menu but have recently become in love with the Hawaiian pizza. I never thought I'd like pineapple on pizza until i tried it at Benitos. Well done!! Now, if only Benitos pizza would open a location or a dozen in Chicago. ?
The team at Benitos, despite recent labor force challenges, continue to dish-out some of the best Pizza, Wings, Bread in our area. Always fresh & a good value.
My pickup order at Benitos was running late today. I had ordered online and everyone has staffing issues these days so I understood, but also was on a tight schedule and asked if I could cancel. They kindly let me cancel and I was on my way. Later that evening they called and asked if they could remake my order and deliver it without a delivery fee and on a discount! I did not expect this at all but what customer service. We always love Benito’s pizza but their customer service is next level.
The food is great. The service sucks! Last two orders (A week apart) were delivered across the street. They blamed it on not seeing our address which is below our " always" on porch light. They maybe could have seen the address better had they not been 1/2 hour past the time they promised! They offered a $15 credit on our next order, this is after we used a $20 credit for the last screw up. It's not the foor, rather the management that hires people who don't care.
I am a huge fan of Benito's. They are my go-to for pizza and casual pasta. Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating at this time due to the declining quality of my last two orders. Pizza has been soggy and not cooked through. Chicken Alfredo pasta has been lightly sauced and flavorless. I don't understand what could have changed to decrease the quality so much over a short time period.
Placed a order online and it said delivery would take 45-50 minutes. After a hour I call the restaurant to get a update, and the pizza had not even been put in the oven yet. I asked to speak to the manager and the girl on the phone said he was to busy to come to the phone. I said I wanted to cancel and they gave me a hard time about doing it. The manager Michael F who is supposedly the owner needs to learn what customer service is!
