Food takes too long and they keep telling us they making it fresh. 28 minutes to get a hamburger 45 minutes to get a kushary dish and 1hour and 10 minutes for a 3 piece lamp chops.... they they tried offering me 10 percent off and I refused so I can feel better writing that review.. Bad for business. They keep on getting u refills so you don't feel your forgotten.... I gave the place a start for the music they played.
We visited Alexandria for the first time today.We will be visiting again and again.The food was amazing and the service was great.It has been years since we had dolmas this good.Mimi the server was really helpful and really knew the food quite well.
Highly recommend this place it's the best Mediterranean food you have ever tried! I had the chicken shawarma dinner and the shrimp scampi dinner it was delicious totally going back soon, also the staff was amazing they made you feel so welcoming and it's a great atmosphere for dates or family dinners. It's has a good seating outdoors and indoors
Sandwich actually tasted ok.The problem is there was almost no meat.They also charged me extra to spread (literally) one tablespoon of hummus instead of garlic sauce.There is a review below from another local guide referring to the extreme cost-saving measures of this restaurant — seems like they were spot on.
Went here for lunch and was greeted and seated right away. Service was great and food came out quick and was top quality. Definitely recommend ?
We knew that the Detroit area had the highest concentration of Middle-Eastern ex-pats anywhere in the US. So logically, we knew this would be the place to find good Mediterranean food. Even still, the Alexandra Mediterranean Cuisine restaurant in Novi was beyond expectations. The spice was wonderful. The hummus (or hommous as the purveyors spelled it) was smooth and creamy with what my wife described as just the right lemon. We ordered chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma, a falafel plate and, of course, extra hummus. All of it was very good. The shawarma came in a homemade pita in which it was baked, a new style for us. Crispy and delicious. The falafel was large and crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside. Just fantastic. We can’t say enough good about Alexandria except that we hope to come back. Oh, and all of this was less expensive than burgers we had yesterday. Go see the friendly staff and great food.
Alexandria Mediterranean Cuisine is tucked into a little slot between a few businesses on this block, and I'll cite that as the reason I've never visited even though I've lived a block away for years!I swung by to grab a bite in early 2022 and found that I'd really been missing out. The team at Alexandria makes your experience easy, and I appreciated that you can order online directly through the Yelp app as well as through their website. Once you're within your pickup window, picking up in the restaurant is smooth and easy as well; my food was on time and I had no complaints.The portions are a good size for what you pay, but the taste is fantastic. Specifically the Chicken in the Shish combo may be the best I've had in my entire life... trust me, it's a high accolade. I'd order a plate of just the chicken if I could!Outside of takeout, they do also have a good amount of indoor seating and there's plenty of parking both directly outside the restaurant and in the adjacent lots.All in all, I'd definitely recommend checking out Alexandria Mediterranean Cuisine!
Alexandria is my absolute favorite mediterranean restaurant. Delicious, very affordable and great service. I've made multiple trips from jackson to Novi just to come here. The hummus and fresh bread is the biggest draw for me, it has a great flavor and the perfect smooth texture. The schwarma and falafel are also well above average. Today was my fifth visit and I have yet to be disappointed by any part of the dining experience here. Will be returning many more times!

Party of 6 and we came in a bit later, around 9:00 p.m. Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was excellent. Its a bit tucked away but its a very cozy spot. For food we have the stuffed grape leaves, babganoush, chicken shawarma, sish tawook, and of course sald, pita bread, hummous, and garlic spread.Everything was fantastic. Good size portions so great for sharing and tasted great.Highly recommend it to anyone looking for some Mediterranean food in Novi.
