Stopped in for lunch this afternoon and everything was great! My Greek salad was huge and full of topping! Our server sunshine was awesome! My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite, while waiting for our hotel to be ready! Thank you sunshine and topshelf staff for welcoming us to Muskegon!

ONLY ordered a Greek Salad....waited over 45 minutes for the salad. Half of the ingredients listed in the menu are not in the salad. It is a slopped together, small pathetic bed of shredded lettuce topped w a pile of feta, some croutons, and a few olives for $7.50 I'll skip this place next time. Service was OK.

It was our first time at this establishment. Everyone should avoid at all costs. Our party of 6 sat at a table for an hour waiting for our food. The waiter forgot to put in our requested appetizer and forgot to bring drinks. When we asked about the status of our food after waiting for an hour, the waiter gave us nothing but attitude and we promptly left. Don’t waste your time or money.

1/5 stars for the level of customer service shown by the waiter, Alex, at this establishment. We were tourists of the area and would not recommend this place to any others touring downtown Muskegon. When we asked him where our food was as it had been 1 hr since we had placed 3 pizza orders, he became defensive and decided the best way to talk to us was with profanity. It was already 8 PM so we settled on Dominos takeout and had great service!

Absolutely terrible service. Bartender/server forgot our initial order, then forgot beer/drink orders multiple times. We never had the pizza because we had been there for an hour and said cancel it. When we told the server we could've done without the attitude he became incredibly childish. Bread sticks, for a 1 year old over an hour

They were out of all the appetizers we wanted to try, the pizza was great, the beer was pretty tasty. Parking was hard to find.

We had the breaded mushrooms and they were good. Tried the top shelf pizza and it was good. Like the crust and sauce. It was a good pizza but not the best we have had like another poster stated.

When we arrived, we thought it was closed, since there was no one else in the place. However, the staff welcomed us and informed us that it was last call for the kitchen, it was an hour and a half before they closed (according to Google hours, which aren't always accurate), so that was a little surprising, however, given that no one else was in there, we understood, and we were hungry, so we weren't going to complain. The waitress told us that only fried foods were available at that point. We both ordered the chicken strips and they were great! Our waitress Ava was very sweet. So, while we didn't necessarily get to order what we may have liked, the food that we did get was great and service was outstanding! I would definitely give this place another try, and try to get there earlier, so that we weren't limited to only fried options.

First time ever horrible service. Just left after 15 minutes of waiting and no one waited on us. Waitress complaining about another employee to a worker who wasn’t working. Then proceeded to wait on that non working staff member who walked in 5 minutes after us. Walked down to Dr Rolfs and instant service, friendly staff, and provided top notch service within stepping in their door. Even thanked us for coming. They were packed. Unfortunately, we were regulars at Top Shelf will not be back to this location after listening to horrible talk about another employee and NO service.

Great pizza and a good variety of beer. Not only do they do a great job supplying local brews they also have a variety of styles as well. Tried the Dewey Hill on Fire, which had a serrano and ghost pepper after kick without too much heat. It was a surprisingly good balance. Wheezin' the juice was as good as always. That's two good options from Grand Armory Brewery. Tropical heat comes in from Rockford Brewing Company with a slight ode to an IPA with a slight heat. Nothing like the Dewey, but still a subtle poke. The sangaria hard cider was good, but I felt it just missed on being great. Might need a more full palette variety of the fruits so accustomed to pure sangria. Over all great food, variety of beers on tap with a full service bar and good pizza. Great place to try.
