Loved the pizza! Tried a deep dish and an all meat. I picked it up but the inside looked cool. Wish I would have went earlier and ate there.
This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the space. There's so much room and seating inside. It's decorated in a unique, welcoming way. Today they were hosting a private event out on their beach patio, which I didn't know was a thing but I'm already trying to figure out what event I could host there.We had the spinach artichoke risotto, a house salad, and a veggie sandwich. The food was good. The seasoned steak fries were probably the best part; I could have had an entire plate of those and been thrilled. The margarita was a little weak.Service was a touch slow (but very kind!), but again they were hosting an event and everyone is short staffed, so l won't hold that against them.The only true complaint I have is that the restaurant lighting was too dark for me. I went into the bathroom and I felt like I walked into a cave.All that being said I do want to return and try their pizza. I will update my review the next time we visit.
I was in town from Texas and my family and I wanted to check this place out for dinner. Food was great! I had the perch sandwich which was very good (and very Michigan). Couple of us had the prime rib dip that was great too. This place is known for there deep dish pizzas that are good and reasonable priced. Didn’t try them but we have something to go back for soon. I’ll be back when we’re in town!
They had a very large selection of pizza. We had the Philly cheese steak pizza with cheese so soft it could melt in your mouth. Very friendly staff who checked on us every few minutes to make sure our drinks stayed full. I recommend for anyone who appreciates a good pizza!
First timers. Christina was the best waitress I've had, anywhere, ever! Always there but never hovering, helpful and fun but professional and friendly. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was fun and elegant while still being comfortable and it was extremely clean. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Love ambience and food was great. Best side salad ever had. Staff was on top of there game as well.
We ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza with a kids pizza and spaghetti. All were delicious and the deep dish was very filling. It did take a little for our food to come out, but when it did it was hot and ready. The staff was very kind and kept checking in on us to make sure everything was good. Would recommend giving it a try if your just traveling through!
Best lake perch anywhere. Great fajitas too. Everything I've ever tried here was good solid food. And the service? Friendly hostesses greet me at the door. Great waitresses are fast, friendly, and not too much interference with our time. Perfect balance between service and friendly conversation.
The best food around and their bloody Mary's are also the best. We've had bloody Mary's at almost every place in town and none of them have been all that great until we had one at Handsome Hobos. We were extremely impressed with their food and their service. The manager was helping because the waitress had a big table. We will definitely be back!
I love the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Michigan Cherry Salad! The atmosphere is calming with mood lighting and a cozy feeling. The service is always wonderful! Still waiting to meet the Handsome One yet ! ? Lol!
