We had a great experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Yuma but the service in Muskegon was not good service. The restaurant was not full so I asked to be seated in the bar but was told by the hostess that she just seated someone in there so she would have to seat me somewhere else. My entree was delivered to my table but I had not yet received my salad. After they scrambled around they brought me my salad. No real apology. No nothing. The food was fine but the hostess and servers are poorly trained and don't seem to care.
We both had ribs, my wife's were warm mine were cold, fatty and greasy.The chili was good as was the Ceasars salad.Rolls were nice.Place was clean inside and out.Had about a 10 minute wait.Staff were friendly and efficient.Maybe they should take some time when preparing their ribs.
6pm on a Friday evening and you were out of medium rare prime rib. I settled for medium well. So disappointing. Dinner came within minutes after receiving our salads. Talk about feeling rushed. Also my wife's sweet potato skin was burnt. Nothing like a negative dining experience. This by the way was the first time we ever had this happen. Hopefully it will be the last.
Went for our dad's 68th birthday March 2021 and had a great time! The food was amazing and wait staff was exceptional! We left her a nice tip! 4/23/2022 Went back for post birthday dinner. The food and drink was all that!!! I ordered the Smokehouse burger minus the BBQ sauce and my daughter had the smothered chicken and mashed potatoes. I was only able to eat 1/4 of the burger and 1/4 of the fries. Huge portions that were delicious. Late night or brunch for tomorrow ?
Service was great. Bartender / Server was great. They handled the few Rude customers better than I would have. Wait was about 45 minutes for a table. They Initially were telling people 30-35... and a few got upset. But it's hardly the restaurants fault that people ate slowly. The longer wait was nothing to do with service. The service was fantastic and very quick. My steak was out very quickly. (UNDER 10 MINUTES!)5 STARS!
The line was long and out the door. But the wait was relatively short. Our group was somewhat large, eight of us, but we were easily accommodated. The waitress was excellent ($80 tip.) No empty bread baskets or glasses, no botched orders or forgotten items. Short wait for the food. All the steaks and one burger were prepared as requested.
I wanted to celebrate my birthday at Texas Road house, because I love the food there. I had an experience so unprofessional today. My party of 10 had to be split because they couldn't accommodate us. That was fine, so we waited for an hour and twenty minutes to be seated. The waitress sat 5 people at one table and the table that was next us empty, she sat the rest of our party on the other side of the restaurant. I asked her why my party could not sit there. She said, there wasn't a server there. Another waitress sat another party at the table next to me. The remaining people in my party left, because we were not together. So I stayed, the waitress we had brought us the wrong food. What an awful day, 3 hours at Texas Road House! Never Again!!!
Seating issues suck a** Even if you have 80% of your party they won’t seat you, skip you. Then you have to wait another half hour to get a table. Terrible service.
love there steaks we usually pick ours out of the case great flavor and very tender the staff are very friendly my favorite place!
My wife and I each ordered steak cooked medium. When it came they asked to cut into it to make sure it was cooked correctly. Both were cooked less than rare. They sent them back. While waiting we ate the sides that came with it. Cold stale steak fries. The steaks came back. Again severely undercooked. Tired of waiting for a steak restaurant to learn how to cook a steak so we ate the outside that was somewhat cooked. When the bill came we were treated to learn that 1 bottle of Blue Moon beer costs $6.25. 1 bottle!! Will never go here again.
