Phenomenal service and food quality! House specialties: BBQ ribs and their Perch Dinner are seriously delicious. A beef burrito was also ordered... it was tasty too! This place is worth traveling into town for. Whether you are passing through, or, close to town this is definitely where to stop to get your grub on. Craft beer list SOLID as well

I never leave reviews, but I had to share a wonderful experience we had. It was nearly 8pm on Monday. Traveling as a party of 7...2 moms and 5 kids 8 and under, we were exhausted and hungry after a day at Michigan's Adventure. We were promptly seated. Our amazing server, who I wish I could remember by name, took the best care of us. They were slammed, yet she managed to provide us with excellent service, not to mention, amazing food. They have the best kids' menu variety, and awesome kids menu activity pages. That's a huge bonus with this tired momma! Thank you, Hobo's Tavern, for an incredible experience. We will be back next time we're in the area.

Stopped for the first time today for dinner and we were blown away by the food and the customer service. Our server, Jusiah, was outstanding and very helpful with the menu when we had questions. This is by far my favorite chicken parm that I have ever had. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely everything was picture perfect. We are from out of town and wanted something different than fast food. This was the perfect place. We had boneless wings they were moist and delicious. I had the blackened Atlantic Salmon, and sirloin. Both cooked to perfection. The best salmon I have ever had. My son had spaghetti and meatballs. He says it should get a 10 out of 10. Service was friendly, and fast. Food came out piping hot, drinks kept filled. So happy I found this place.

Our first visit was a success! I forgot to take pictures of the appetizer and meal (because we were hungry) but I remembered by dessert! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip (good! The tortilla chips were just okay), the beyond burger with fries (good! My husband was happy), and the burrito (vegetarian style, also good). The portions are really big. The dessert we ordered was the Oreo crust peanut butter pie with chocolate chips and caramel/chocolate drizzle. It was suuuuper rich and tasty. The restaurant was packed when we arrived, I was surprised we got a table, but by the time we left it had mellowed out nicely. The decor inside is cute! The colors and style kind of remind me of Disney World restaurants. There's also a very cool outdoor sitting area with a waterfall fountain and sand! I'm not sure if they serve food out there or if you're just able to get carry out and then go sit there, but it's a cool way to bring the beach to a city restaurant.

Holy Cow, our waitress(Linda) was AMAZING! On our next visit hopefully we get her again. They have this thousand island sauce with cayenne and cocktail sauce that is so good. I ordered the Pomegranate which was really good. My wife had the Fuzzy Peach. The ribs are really tender. I wonder if you can get a dry rub and sauce on the side. Everyone really like their food. I really enjoyed the fish and veggies. The strawberry short cake was really good. Totally recommend this spot.

If you don’t order the steak and spinach salad… you’re not right. ITS A GAME CHANGER!

My family and I love eating at Hobo’s Tavern. They always have delicious food, great customer service, and fair prices. We also appreciate their large gluten free menu, as that’s not very common for local restaurants to have so many GF options. Definitely recommend!

Excellent, friendly service even though they were very busy.Hobo's Ground Steak and Hobo's Pie

Great food used to be my fav for perch, but they downsized the size(smelt size), and at22$ not worth it. But the food is very good.
