I don't know about the food but the service or lack there of was horrible. We were in town for the weekend for a graduation. We walked in on a Saturday ( May 14) at approx 8:30pm. Their website says open until 10pm. We walked in to secure seating for 8 and a female employee walked up to the counter, without a word and props up a laminated sign that days NO DINE IN and walks away to talk with other employees as we were left standing there dumbfounded. Thoroughly confused as there were people dining in the restaurant but they were far from being busy.
I’m a regular customer, way over priced, two meals and a side a French fries, didn’t even get the fries, $35! Extremely awkward, customer service was weak. My steak tacos had very little meat, the rice was old and dry. Chips and salsa came in a small zip lock bag, with a 4oz salsa, way way overpriced. We will no longer be ordering from here!
This place has pretty decent food if you're hungry and in the area. I ordered spinach tamales that were good but a bit dry. My meal came with good sides. The Margerita I got was VERY weak. And if you're looking for the worst service in town, you've come to the right place!***My edit is, I changed it to one star. I have been in twice since my original review and talk about going down hill. Our waitress got my order completely wrong even though she asked me twice to confirm what I ordered. When I waved her over to tell her that it was wrong, all she did was laugh and say she will have them make it again. In fact, she barely let me say it was wrong.....as if she already knew it was and was waiting to see if I complained.As usual, the waitress only checked on us to hand us the bill.With as many Mexican restaurants around town, I will make another choice. San Marcos on Whitehall Rd has awesome service and delicious food in case anyone reading this needs to know.
Wait staff was hideous 15 minutes before drink order. No they were not busy they were talking to each other. Food was decent the house sauce was bland with no taste. Food was decent not exceptional. If you dine in you will be frustrated

Entrees were not good. Meat was tough, rice was exceedingly bland. Waitress brought me the wrong drink. I'm diabetic and was served a cherry coke. Food was definitely overpriced. I will never go back here. El Burrito Loco is much much better!
Overpriced and underwhelming. If you want good stuff go to El Burrito. At least when this place was Main Event you had a chance of running into a coked up puke bunny in a Zebra print G string.
When we went the service was good and the margaritas, but food was terrible. My tacos were dry and so were the tamales.
Not terrible but very inconsistent, I always get the same thing and sometimes it tastes like no seasoning was added and the chunks of steak are way too big and sometimes its fine. Sometimes you get yellow cheese and sometimes you get white cheese. Their homemade shells are super good though!
Food was OK. Portion was decent but overpriced.Would recommend either Gaels or Los Amigos instead. Better food, better pricing and larger portions.
