This is a favorite of ours to eat. Great food & reasonably priced. Each staff member is wonderful. Each time we have guests from out of town they always want to go back there to eat. Only one problem. They're not open at the evening dinnertime!

I’ll give it three stars for clean and family friendly and the pancakes are good. Other than the pancakes the food quality is consistently below average for your standard breakfast/lunch cafe compared to a waffle house or IHOP. We ate here three times as it is right down the street from our Airbnb rental. The sausage is comparable to the already cooked packaged sausage in Walmart and is like an old grease sponge.
My favorite breakfast place, but they have amazing lunch, too. I read an article a week ago saying the ownership changed, but as far as I see the staff has remained the same and the food is good, just like always. Hence the name, “GOOD FOOD.” Please don’t change!
I placed an order for pick up and brought it home and it was so good! Nice and warm! I got the biscuits and gravy and side of hashbrowns! So good! 10/10!
I went there and tried to get some order of stuffed French toast again the stuffed French toast was awful but the service was AWESOME.My girlfriend got some regular breakfast food and she enjoyed it . I didn't want to give this place a bad review based on the stuffed French toast I should've gotten a burger my nephew got it and he ate it all in under 5 mins
Had wet burritos for lunch. They where over microwaved burnt cheese and dried out tortilla. Also ordered beef pasties to cook later.. they where flavorless with no sign of meat. Will not be going back any time soon.
Had a breakfast date with my 3 yr old grandson and they put his orange juice in a coffee cup so he could be like me. The breakfast was very good. Always love going there. Prices are great too

We come to Muskegon on a fairly frequent basis (a couple times per year on average) and we always stop by the Cherokee. It has a real Home Town look and feel. The staff is like (and probably is) family. Families aren't perfect BTW! They are friendly, attentive and prompt. The breakfast pastie takes the concept of biscuits and gravy to a whole new level. The hash browns and home fries are the best. Locals (including my in-laws) love this place. The rest - sorry - who cares. Maybe they should stay home. Anyway - thanks for always being here!!
