I like Olive garden and decided to set it as the spot for a long needed lunch out to reconnect with a friend. I'll start out to say all the food was fine. The trouble was with the spaced out waiter. We both chose a soup and salad with an extra side dish. We were brought soup first. We weren't offered a refill. He didn't take the bowl and still hadn't brought salad but brought friend side dish. When we called him back and asked if we could get the salad, he brought it but left again without leaving utensils to serve it up. He only offered my friend a drink refill and when I inquired about my side dish, he said it would be out shortly. It was a bit of a wait to get it. I know lunch is a busy time but there is a certain level of effort needed to pull in the so call "expected tip" IMO. I'll still give restaurant an 9 but that waiter a generous 5.5
I liked my waiter. The atmosphere was really nice. Except we were on a date night, and we were set smack dab in the middle of 4 families, with small children. While the restaurant was empty. It's like all customers were seated in the same area. Needless to say the experience was not one to be remembered. We won't be going back.
5:00 P.M. on a Saturday, they were packed. Our wait was 10 minutes with staff very friendly and accommodating. I ordered Shrimp Fritto Misto from the appetizer list with a side salad ...got the huge bowl of salad (and breadsticks) and the shrimp was superb! Hubby cleaned up every bite of Chicken Marsala and, having worked over 40 years in the business, said it was the first time he had visited a restaurant that left no dissatisfaction! Servers, clean, neat, and smiling, were impressive to watch meeting everyone's needs. Noah, our server, was a delight and our coffee cups were never empty. Wonderful experience! Thank you!
My husband and I have become fussy over the years and had quit going to chain restaurants for a long time preferring places that have a real chef. B/c of the pandemic we ventured back into Olive Garden and have really enjoyed our experiences there. They have inexpensive meals that give you more bang for you buck than anywhere! You get a wonderful salad and breadsticks with your meal. I pay almost the same price for an okay sandwich and soup at Panera so I'm not sure why people complain about Olive Garden. The service is always fast and pleasant.
Food is always good but the service needs a lot of training. They forget your order and are not mindful of how many people are at your table when service the sharables. Online wait-list does not reserve you a table. 0 wait online was 30 min to get a table.
Awesome service from our waiter! He checked on us throughout our meal & kept us filled with our soup, breadsticks & beverages. My gf & I both had the Lasagna ?. It was delicious! Our guests' enjoyed pasta Primavera & margarita chicken. Both said they were divine! The waiter wore a mask & observed a safe distance when he could. People were spaced out in the restaurant nicely also.All-in-all it was a pleasant experience.
Absolutely deliciousGreat service as well
Always have a great experience here I will return thank for the great meal olive garden
I pretty like the spaghetti with sausage here, so delicious and fresh. They also has a great service. I once left my credit card on the payment machine when I checked out there, but I didn't pay attention. The next day I found out that my credit card was missing. I drove back to Olive Garden and asked. They quickly recovered my credit card, which was helpful.
Our server was phenomenal. Sadly, I don't remember his name, but he was attentive & helpful. Good food (a lot of it). Fair price. Great service. What more do you want?
