I have eaten thousands Chinese buffets in the past two decades. This particular restaurant I have been to every other week for over 12 years. I usually alternate between this one and China one buffet on a weekly basis. Great Wall buffet is about average quality among all chinese buffet. One big plus thing is they put new stuff out fairly quickly due to higher traffic volume. Food tends to be fresher. Like the shrimp there. Fried chickens are also good. Beef cooking method and flavor needs to be improved. Otherwise, the food quality has been quite consistent over the past decade. Overtime they slowly raised the price (from $6 to $7, $9, and now $10.60 for regular lunch include tax before tips). The dinner and Sunday meals prices are now $13.35 include tax before tips). They also dropped Sushi completely a few years ago. A year go, they also replaced fried chicken wings with fried chicken legs. It has limited variety of food. Only 3 tables as compare to other Chinese buffet that has 6 or 7 tables. The Chinese buffet in Battle creek cost less and have more variety including Sushi. Overall, typical average buffet on a high end of price. Not much choices here in Central Michigan.
PRICE IS ABSALOUTLY RIDICULES. The sign said 9.99 Monday threw Friday. We went Friday afternoon. Got charged 15.33 per person. ENDED UP SPENDING 93. FOR 6 PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!Excellent service. Excellent food.Will not ever go back.
Bathroom is in very much of a top to bottom cleaning or remodeling.. actually the whole restaurant needs a bit up dating... wish they offered a bit more variety here in there.. like peanut butter chicken... staff is wonderful And very polite...
Food is not great. They do have lots of options which is great but every time I've been there the food is bland and overcooked. Much better places in town. And the building is usually very dirty and worn down. Room for improvements for sure. Oh and prices have gone up. Spent 45 dollars on three people the last time I was there and that was during lunch time so can't imagine how much dinner would have been.
There is a particular item on their buffet that I very much enjoyed and always got. That would be their little chicken wings. Now for some reason they have replaced those with large drum sticks... It's just not the same...
Every time I go the staff is courteous. The buffet line is clean and well kept. They provide gloves so you don't have to touch the serving spoons with bare hands on the line. The tables are sanitized and clean when you are seated. The food is awesome. Great price for lunch and dinner. The selection is great. Lots to choose from. Best buffet in town!

I was skeptical about this place when my friends from more rural areas recommended it. Looks underwhelming from the outside, and the parking is a little questionable, but don’t let that turn you away. Less options than I’ve typically seen in buffets, however, the options that are there are worth the visit. They offer quick service and delicious food.
Went right before rush (about 530pm) everything was so clean, fresh, and well cooked. No sushi that I could see but everything else was great. Staff were kind but very busy washing everything down sense we're still dealing with covid so that also put my mind at ease. Definitely would take the 45min drive to eat there again.
