Had myself a Popper Dog (my favorite) for the first time in few weeks. As always the dog was delicious and the service was fast and friendly!
Good food, friendly service
Went with a friend who wanted hot dogs for a small group. There were four other people in the entire establishment and there was no line in front of us or behind us. He ordered 12 hot dogs. The “cook” shouted from a few feet away, “hell no!” The guy at the register said, “we can’t do that many.” my friend politely said, “I’m not in a hurry, I can wait.“ I thought it was a joke, kind of like the restaurants where they are rude for fun. It wasn’t a joke. The “cook,“ then started slamming things into the garbage and onto the grill and mumbling rude comments. I was shocked! They have a sign on the register that says, “thank you for eating local.“ Why would anyone go there when there are so many other choices, including “un-local,” fast food chains, that would not freak out over 12 items? I walked out and I will never go to this establishment again.

I very much enjoyed the decoration of the establishment. Their menu is entirely hotdogs except for one sandwich. But man were the hot dogs delicious. Especially the ones with mac's cheese.
Interesting array of flavors and combinations available. Tastes good…not blow-your-socks-off good, but good. Dearborn Hot Dogs. Not much room for seating and just three parking spots available.
Dogs are cooked perfectly every time I've been there,,staff has always been great to deal with and I have definitely recommended this place to friends.
Visited for the first time today. Friendly staff, that was very attentive to our needs. When there weren’t customers, they were cleaning. Absolutely great combinations of hotdogs. Things you wouldn’t think of putting on a hotdog, Dog Central has perfected. I tried the Frankie and the Gooberdog for my firsts. Awesome! Keep up the good work and thank you for using Michigan made products!
Great staff, decent product. I tend to not like dogs in natural casings as some of them can get quite tough and make it difficult to eat. This was the case here at Dog Central. Very thick casings on the dogs. Maybe also offer regular dogs without the casing in addition so customers have the choice. I know tastes vary widely though, and mine is just an opinion, so I definitely recommend this place. Good menu selection and I love the fact that they have a food challenge.
Please update your hours on Google. We drove a considerable distance late at night and were very excited to try your restaurant only to find you closed at 10:30. You have your hours listed until 2am on a Friday night on Google. Very disappointed and hungry...*Update: Still bummed we missed our opportunity. We are from our of town and won't be able to go back. I do very much appreciate the response and explanation. Perhaps we will get another chance in the future.
