We had such an incredible waiter last night. Best service I’ve ever had there! Thank you so much Codie for taking such great care of us and being so attentive.
The service was good, the food not so much. My son got the kids chicken and fries. His was the same size and my fish dinner, which is just one small piece of fish and some fries. I was highly disappointed. I didn't have high expectations, but if it's a Friday night special of a fish dinner, I expect it to be an actual fish dinner. Also my service was carry out.
My family went here yesterday for dinner. RED LOBSTER in MONROE,Mi\\nTo say our experience was bad, is an understatement. 100%\\nWe were seated right away.\\nWhen we were seated the room was nearly empty..\\nThe waitress came over to our drink orders. When she finally came back later without our drinks she took our dinner orders.\\nWe waited almost 20 minutes or more just to get our drinks.\\nNo straws to drink our drinks with.. we waited and waited\\nWe waited patiently...\\nThe room started to get more customers by this time\\n\\nThe waitress said she would bring bread to us...we waited again patiently... still,no bread delivered to our table. As we watched her go to other tables, that came in long after we arrived, take over their orders, bringing them drinks, straws, breads etc and better yet,... their entire meals..\\nWe watched tables come and go before we got our food..\\nAs my family sat there basically completely ignored..\\nI asked our waitress for straws, a simple request, and nothing...\\nI had to ask a different waiter for help.\\nStill no bread...no straws...\\nFinally after sitting there waiting for well over 45 minutes to an hr...\\nI believe it was the supervisor that began to bring out our meals.. Then the waitress tried to take over passing out our meals.\\n\\nWe spent a lot of money there for our food yesterday ... and the service we received was soooo unsatisfactory...\\nAs we asked for containers to pack up and our bill she said sure.. again.. we waited and waited.. then she started cleaning off tables...\\nFinally she brought containers and wouldn't you know, the waitress brought out a basket of biscuits. .\\nYesterday was was supposed to be a night shared with laughter with my family but instead it was a complete nightmare.\\nI was and still am so upset over this..\\nI hope management sees this.\\nBecause our experience and family dinner was ruined.
This place was very clean and the staff was nice.\\nThe food was good and hot when arrived. We did have to wait extra for drinks and service but with the pandemic ans people not wanting to work it's completely understandable.
Great place to eat. Service was excellent even on a busy Mother's day! 3 adult meals came to about $80, not too bad for shrimp and a steak.
I ordered the Seaside Shrimp trio with baked potato and a side of crab legs ?. The food tasted great better than some of the other red lobsters I have been to. Our server was great. She come back to make sure that we had everything we needed and everything was OK. Will definitely be back when I am in the area.
Great food at a great value with superb service! Can't ask for more...
Amazing food fast curb side
Terrible place! The girls up front had no smiles, no greeting, no idea if there would even be a wait. We were seated for 10 minutes before our waiter showed up. Apps were fantastic. Main courses were not at all! His was edible. I had no utensils so I have no idea how mine was. Waited 30 minutes for waitress to bring them and finally just asked for to go boxes instead. Manager showed up annoyed with us so we didn't even get those. $130 dinner for date night completely failed. Do not recommend this place ever. Go to Angelo's next door! They are fantastic!!!
Hope they get better. My family has made a habit of visiting Monroe Red Lobster on trips to Detroit. It is much cleaner than our local RL, and has generally been good. Last night we stopped in on the way back from Monster Jam. My wife and I each ordered the Lobster Feast, and my Brother in law ordered an Admiral's feast I think...the one with crab legs. The entrees arrived and the lobster tails looked decidedly smaller than the ones on the menu, but ah well. The rock lobster tails were overcooked and nearly impossible to remove from the shells without destroying them. The baked lobster tails seemed to have been frozen, thawed, refrozen, and thawed again because they were absolute mush. My brother in law ordered a loaded baked potato that he was charged for, but came out with no toppings. We asked for ranch with our biscuits twice and it never arrived. There was a mix up on my brother in law's drinks (which was corrected and apologized for). Then after dropping off the check we waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and pick it up. Servers....NEVER DO THIS when tables have small kids. When it is time to go the kids get very restless. Server was polite, and I feel that the effort was there, but we were a late table that was tucked in the back. Overall, the (3) $40+ meals we had were less appetizing than carry out from Long John Silvers. This is our 4th time at this particular RL. I feel like maybe they are just training new cooks? Or at least hopefully. I don't feel we will be as likely to stop back on our next trip north. The kid's chicken tenders were great, my teen son's steak was on point, and the crab legs my bro in law got were good. The lobster across the board was awful. When lobster is the name of your business you need to get that right...especially during lobster fest. Honestly I should have sent back all 3 feasts and just gotten chicken tenders, but we ate it, so I said nothing and paid for it. My wife is a restaurant manager, so we try not to be a pain.
