Delightfully charming. The fact that places like this still exist brings joy to my heart. The space seconds as a church on Sundays so don’t bother visiting on the Lords’ day. Craft fresh coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries are essential to the overall experience of Fresh Start! I highly recommend this spot if you’re ever in Monroe or Maybee, MI.
Fresh Start Coffee is a wonderful new coffee shop in Downriver! The staff and atmosphere are welcoming, the breakfast is delicious, and they've got a wide variety of coffee drinks. There's plenty of seating for gatherings and a pretty amazing stage for live music and performances.
If you want some "better than chain brand" coffee, you MUST try Fresh Start coffee. Great staff, cozy interior and a wonderful mission to help people, and make Monroe a better place. I love their spirit, and their coffee... and I WILL be back!
My daughter and I had breakfast here this morning- it was great! I’m not usually one to take pictures of my food, but these plates were so pretty. And it tasted as good as it looks. The Righteous Mexican Mocha will change your life (the sugar free or regular, both are so good) and the muffins are to die for. You really ought to check this place out! I’ve been there four times in the last two weeks, and It’s been great every time.
Fresh Start is a great addition to the morning coffee scene that you simply MUST try! the coffee is well roasted and perfectly brewed... try the Righteous Mexican Mocha... both regular and sugar-free options... surprising and delicious! cozy nooks with sofas and lounge seating, standard tables, and a large communal table (conversation required!) provide lots of seating options, plus a couple private conference rooms for private events. Bonus: a stage for live performances, and a gallery of art for purchase. Pass by the franchise chain, fast food options and pop a squat to enjoy a cuppa joe...( or tea!) Now open on Saturdays, and serving fresh-cooked breakfast options. Buy local and support this great business!
