These details are important so bear with me: we were at Cracker Barrel for a birthday celebration. We had a hero of 6 adults and two children. Four of us arrived at the same time and were seated while four were still on the way.Enter Jesse.Jesse immediately greeted us, introduced herself and had menus in our hands. She took out drink orders and within minutes not only had our drinks but brought two of everything. I have NEVER eaten at cracker barrel where I haven't had to ask for a refill at least once. Jesse never let us run out of drinks. That alone gets her five starsBecause of time constraints the four people who were present needed to order. Jesse took our order WITHOUT using a tablet. She had it all down by memory and when our food came out it was all correct. Then the next four showed up. As our food was being handed Jesse was also taking the new orders by memory. They all came out without a hitch.Despite having other customers Jesse made us feel as though we were the only people in her care.We will definitely be requesting Jesse each time we return.

We should have realized there would be problems when we noticed all the tables with dirty dishes. It appeared they only cleaned a table when needed to seat someone. AFTER we ordered, the waiter told us they were out of table knives. I asked how we were supposed to butter our biscuits or cut our food to which he replied, "I don't know." Then there was the food. I ordered the "Sunday Pot Roast" which consisted of no more than a bowl of lukewarm broth with two small chunks of meat and a few partially-cooked vegetables. The accompanying biscuits were tiny and burned black on the bottom, All of this for $10.99. Drink refills - ha, forget it! Now that the Cracker Barrels have sunk to this level I see no need of us wasting our time at one.

I really enjoy the great tasting food. However the wait staff and seating coordinator need to step up and be retrained. Waiting 20 minutes for a waitress and having to find someone to wait on a group of 2 people should not happen. The host/hostess doesn't pay attention and lacks communication. This has happened the last 4 out of 5 times. The line up next at the end of the store blocks everyone off. There are some wonderful wait staff that do step up and help. And as I've stated the food has been good on the many occasions that I have visited and is what keeps me coming back.

Every time I order to-go, they are consistently slow on the food. If they tell you 20 minutes, make it 45 minutes minimum. This had been my experience almost 100% of the time I have ordered to-go here, and will not eat in anymore due to an awful experience. If it weren't for my daughter liking the chicken and dumplings, this place would never get another cent from me.

It was a Thursday night. Had the country fried steak because the picture in the menu made it look so good. Well it was that good and glad I had it. Service was a tad off tonight but we did have a great time anyway. Remind me to have my Aunt Helen show the kids how to make biscuits. Had the Fruit Salad Icetea. Very flavorful. Their ice tea just always seem to be just rightly done. Not so much as a hint of coffee’s nose in it.

We went to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Monroe, Michigan last night, after several months due to the Pandemic. The first thing that we noticed, was the 10 minute wait for someone to greet us and ask how many people in our party (3). We finally got a table and the next thing I noticed, was that you no longer have the Haddock fish dinner and the smaller menu. We ordered the chicken fried steak, that was over cooked, the gravy was to stiff and the mashed potatoes were terrible tasting. I realize that the pandemic has affected all restaurants, but this is the first time in over 30 years, that we have been disappointed in a meal at any Cracker Barrel location, from Michigan to Tampa, Florida. Cracker Barrel has always had a great reputation for great food at a fair price, but last night was extremely disappointing and Cracker Barrel Corporate, needs to hold their restaurants more accountable for their service and the food that they serve. We haven’t given up on Cracker Barrel yet, but I hope that you can get back to the restaurant, that you were before the pandemic. Thanks for listening to my criticism and complaining about our experience last night and we hope that you can rectify this issue quickly. Thanks again.

When we first arrived, we were seated rather quickly. Someone other than our waitress took our drink order to help out which was ok. After ordering our food we waited forever for it to be brought out to us. There was a couple that ordered after us who got their food before us. The food isn't what it used to be and the service wasn't that good either. The overall experience wasn't all bad, still many great memories when we visit this location or any other cracker barrel.

They need "HELP", they are hiring. They were not busy, 30min wait to be seated then took a couple more minutes to figure out which 1 of the 15+ empty tables to seat us. After placing our orders found out they were out of several items. NOT THE WAITRESSES FAULT. So ordered what they had. Chicken and dumplings with biscuits, "no corn bread." Biscuits could have been baked a couple more minutes. Chicken and dumplings,,,,I've tasted better out of a store bought can.

Horrible service. waited well over an hour for our food. (only 3 people eating) My sons burger & bun were burnt. This was my husband first time coming to a cracker barrel & he never wants to come back.

My husband I went for breakfast here. Not only was it chilly inside where the tables are. When we got our food it was hardly warm. I ordered biscuits and gravy. My biscuits were brunt on the bottom which was disappointing plus they weren't served with enough gravy to cover them. Will not be going back here. I am from the south originally and was excited to have south style breakfast. The food sucked. Our server was the sweetest however. She was very sweet.
