First time at this Restaurant. The food was excellent. It was very busy but the service was very good. Will definitely go back.
Extremely Delicious visit, great food and service. A finalist in search for best Mexican in Michigan by MLIVE 2018. Been on my list for a year now just don't get this far south often. Decades of experience between the partners making grandma's special food from the homeland Mexico. Shout out to Mackenzie our superstar waitress incredible job, your a keeper. Place packed late lunch hour which is always a good sign. Started with what we call Queso Fundidio was actually one of the best ever a perfect blend of Chorizo n Cheese with addictive fresh made in house Tortilla Chips WOWED. She had mixed Steak n Chicken Fajitas spot on. I tried a really good Mexican Pizza and blown away by Yo Mama's Tacos filled with Carnitas n Cheese dusted with Cotija Cheese a wonderful trio of Tacos. The best ever I call Gringo Burger, closest to one I been making for a couple decades. A blended Ground Beef n Chorizo topped with Pepper Jack Cheese n Onion Straw's. So great I would highly suggest owners enter in Burger Battle Detroit held once each year. The Burger OMG one of best ever eaten perfection, yeah it's a must try. Full Bar, stage for entertainment and Margarita Flights to sample 4 at a time. A lot of flavor, Great food and service
Plenty of options, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Pretty much anything you can get can be made with jackfruit, a mushroom blend or tofu. So awesome. I got the jackfruit fajitas. Tasty drinks too. Rios, our server, was a great server. Very friendly and helpful. That spicy salsa is Al spicy boiiiiii! But oh so good. Can’t wait to go back and try something else. Nice authentic mexican food. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very pleasant.
Our food was delicious, but the chips and salsa might have been my favorite part! Our waitress, Lulu, was great & attentive. This was our first time and certainly not our last. The atmosphere is cute for Monroe, perfect for a date night, and the staff is super welcoming. Thanks for a great experience!
I ordered shrimp and crab nachos. I think I counted 6 mini shrimp and seen 1 piece of crab meat. I was very disappointed in the food and the price. I would have gladly paid the 16$ for $16 worth of food. I feel their food is high quality bar food at best. I will most likely not return. Staff was friendly.
We are big Mexican Food junkies and I can say this was just ok. The service was good and they were very nice but the food was mediocre. The salsa was good, the chips fair. I ordered chicken fajitas. The portion was smaller than I am used to. My husband ordered enchiladas and he said they were ok. They were quite busy. If you're craving Mexican and don't feel like a drive, this place would do.
What a great place to eat. My Family and I had been overlooking this place since they opened, and we decided to stop here for dinner. We were very impressed. All of the Staff that interacted with us were very friendly, and accommodating. Our food was excellent. My wife ordered the steak fajitas, and said that they were the best that she's had in a long time. I ordered the classic ground beef chimichanga, topped with half queso, and half enchilada gravy, and it was also great. They give you so much food, that you won't leave hungry. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Monroe. We'll be repeat customers for a long time
This restaurant is excellent and has a great location! The food was so amazing and everyone at our table agreed. They use fresh corn tortillas, the guacamole chips and salsa were amazing, and the enchiladas are yummy. The prices are reasonable, and staff is very friendly
