Menu was fantastic as always! Everything from cocktails to dessert was great

The Bloody Maryâs were terrific! We had the French Toast, Duck Tostada and Burger. Yum!
First time dining here. Had reservation. Seating quickly after arrival in a nice window table. Server was timely with coming over for drinks. Nice selection. Hubby wished they had non-alcoholic beer. He found a regular one that he enjoyed. Felt a little rushed to order. Starters were shared among us. Mussels, not so fresh but ok. Cod hushpuppies were good. Potato dish was very tasty. Hubby had goat cheese salad. For mains, we had hamburger which was very good. Co-diner did not care for bacon jam but he is fussy. I had salmon artfully presented on bed of baby peas with tendrils over top. A few strawberries were added I guess for color. It was fine but did nothing to add to flavor for me. I thought the serving was small. Was delicious but smallest I have ever had anywhere. My other companions had the branzini which they loved. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse with duck fat caramel topping. It was outstanding but tiny. We had a little bit of delays getting drinks refilled. Vibe was nice and I enjoyed my dinner out. Would go again for sure. I felt the bill was very much in line. I wish them a long future in Midland and thank them for trying to bring great places to eat locally.

It was our first visit at Aster for my husbandâs birthday and it was delicious and delightful. Comfortable low key atmosphere with solid drinks and great food. We will be back again and again.
If you are looking for chef prepared exceptional menu, Aster is the place. Good choice of wines and service was amazing. Unfortunately the noise level takes away from the dining experience.
Burger was amazing! Loved the beet salad as well. Great atmosphere. Felt nice to have something like this right in midland and not another chain. Will definitely be back!
