Was there Thursday and have one word; JOCELYN! Midland needs her back!!! I ordered 2 combos with fries & Root beer in carhop & well I was disappointed, didn't even get my mug.. long story Short Jocelyn made this Preggo ladies day by IMMEDIATELY correcting my order! She was Great
It was such a shame! The worst food I've ever had. They definitely went down hill majorly. I used to love going here. But today it took 3 trys to get it right. Don't know what they are doing or not doing, but all of the food was tasteless and gross. Like so many have mentioned, the wait took way too long. It was frustrating and infuriating. Way too much money for such aweful food, wish I could get my money back. Will not be going there again. There's only 1 star so I could give a review. Otherwise, it would not have any stars ?
Worst experience anywhere in Midland. Waited 15 minutes to place order, then waited another 15 minutes before going back to counter to ask about my food.Employees are just kids screwing around with no managers leading them or did them seem to really care. Oh when my food did show up it was cold.Pretty damn sad, and I thought McDonald's was bad.
Today was just a perfect storm of failure. The AC didn't work in the dining area and it was hot and humid, we had to wait 35 minutes for our food, the entire floor of the dining room was slippery, my order was wrong twice, my wife's order was completely lost and by the time it was all combined the burger was cold, fries cold but the hot dog bites were hot and flavorless. I'm not sure I'd recommend. On the plus, the bathrooms were nice.
Came here after spending the day at Dow Gardens. Hadn't been to a A&W in years and used to love it. Cashier was extremely quiet and couldn't answer any questions about the combo size. Ordered chili cheese fries and they came out with no chili. Same cashier came over to our table and was rude about the whole ordeal when the order was very clearly taken wrong. Very disappointing experience from a place I used to love. Maybe it's just this location? Either way will not be heading back anytime soon :(
30 minutes to get food at drivethrough- food was barely warm- had to really think whether to eat it or not! There was one car ahead of us- we couldn't even give our order until that person had left. The girls inside were bickering about whether or not to refund someone's money! When we were handed the bag of just 3 Coney dogs- not a difficult order- the girl tossed the bag to my husband- no thank you for p patiently waiting. We should have cancelled our order and moved on. Terrible experience- hope the manager gets involved and gets this hot mess straightened out! would have to seriously think about ever going back!
Absolutely love the cheese curds here. Food is a bit expensive. Bought 4 coney dogs, 3 cheese curds, and 3 medium root beers and paid almost $40. But it is good.
This place was very slow! I came here with my grandparents for a nice lunch but nope not again. they had to bring us everything one by one. Plus they gave us as little as they possibly could for condiments. They suck!??
This is not a joke. We waited in line for 20 minutes. No ice cream, no chicken strips (frozen). And the shift manager was training three new people. And that’s all fine we understand. But this is the most hilarious “what the heck” is going on with Midland A&W location I have ever seen. I feel for them we feel for them. But hopefully soon they’ll get back to normal.
Friendly service! The only bad part was the ice cream machine was down, Def not mad about it, life happens!
