Nice little BBQ joint! Had the brisket sliders and waffle fries. They are a fast casual restaurant. You order up front, then they bring your food out to the table. Parking is limited, so get there early!
I have three star because service and attentiveness need improvement. We ordered two entrees identical but second one with only one meat and one entree came to table and after 10 min we inquired where is the second entree they said oh they only put in one entree they thought we meant take away the entree not repeat same entree but take away some meat. We decided to just share a meal. For what you pay they should have better service and attentiveness. The rib and brisket is good.
A friend of mine was involved with this location's interior build out. I love supporting local and BBQ so we checked Woodpile out a while back. They are our go-to now. They are super friendly and willing to accommodate food allergies as best they can. I really like their pulled chicken with the hose BBQ sauce. Also, the sweet potato mash should be award-winning in my opinion. Anyway. Keep being awesome.
Second time here and very good! We get the two meat combo and 2 sides. The pulled pork is my fav, not a huge fan of the ribs and brisket is ok. Their service is always nice, sauces are yummy and I really don't have anything negative to say other than parking is difficult sometimes. We will be back when in the area :)
Meats were good (ribs, pulled chicken, pulled pork). Sides were not good but sweet potatoes were ok. Food was not served hot (disappointing). The bartender made a great long island and staff were friendly.
I just picked up dinner here for the very first time and unfortunately, it will be my last. I paid $23 for all fat! I cannot eat 1 piece of my brisket... look at these pictures. I am so very MAD and disappointed!
I had a platter meal which consisted of 4 pieces of cornbread, 2 large sides (collard greens and backed beans) a slab of ribs and a whole smoked chicken. I added the sausage. All and all the meal was pretty good. The ribs were nice and tender and the greens were good, they just needed a little hot sauce. They were a little heavy on the vinegar but okay. I liked the baked beans and cornbread. What I didn't like was the chicken. The skin was leathery and you definitely couldn't chew it. All in all it was a good meal for me for the week. I just wish I would have ordered a couple more sides.
