We decided to try something new for lunch and we made the great decision to try TJ's dumplings.We got 3 different dishes to share and it was all good. Service was quick and pleasant.Definitely will get again.
My first ever food review even tho i eat alot of food.These dumplings were by far the best dumplings ive ever eaten. And i search for good dumplings. Everything we ordered was awesome. The shrimp dumplings were so plump w nice chunks of shrimp. The chicken was perfect w the seasoning and veggies incorporated. The veggie dumpljngs were packed w veggies. The spring rolls were perfect. I cant say enough about how authentic and gorgeous this food was. Ty. Even the grands loved the chicken tenders which were basic but who cares w the hand made dumplings.Yea id love a bigger variety but for what he offers it was perfect.
TIP: order the chicken dumplings! Not on menu for some reason but the owner suggested them and they’re amazing.This place is crazy good. Super fresh, right off the pan. My order was ready in about 5 mins and was melt-in-your-mouth good. I don’t say this lightly—I used to live in nyc and had a big appetite for dumplings, and this place could hang with the best of them.This place deserves more than one visit for sure. I got half and half of the shrimp and chicken dumplings, and I cannot wait to come back to try more of their stuff! Also—it looks like a true mom and pop operation. Tip well, and support your local AAPI businesses :)
We enjoy everything here. The scallion pancakes are delicious, the dumplings are excellent--had the pork (different from the wontons), the shrimp, and the veg! They have an excellent chew and the fried side is the perfect crisp. LOVED the pork in the fried wontons so much we went back within days.. ? The food can be a little greasy, but not in a way that takes away from the satisfaction and comfort from the meals here! Great customer service too, which means more and more as time passes.
We LOVE getting pan fried pork and steamed shrimp dumplings!!! They are SO juicy. Pork ones are meaty and packed with flavor. Shrimp ones have celery bits that add a crunchy texture with big shrimp chunks. Friendly staff. They’re so fast to prep too. Such a great neighborhood staple?
We tried A LOT of items and everything was amazing. The lady behind the counter was great, service was wonderful. Highly recommended! The shrimp chow mein is amazing!

Delicious! I wish there were more vegetable options, like green beans, bok choy, etc. If you get the dumplings fresh out of the pan they are to die for.
Delicious!! We went today for lunch and the dumplings are the vest that I've ever had in the Midwest. The chow mein was also delicious and shrimp tasted so fresh. Wonderful service as well. We can't wait to return.
