This is the typical slider joint that has been around forever on a lot of corners in metro Detroit. However, The Telway has the best tasting sliders I've had. I'm leaning towards the onions that make them so good. I had 5, along with a chili cheese fries, and a giant chocolate shake. Keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure they will be there long after I'm gone. Oh, and the ladies working the counter couldn't have been nicer.
We started going to Telway in 1987. My husband's Grandma use to live down the street from Telway & go often. We now live an hour away, but go when we are in the area or my husband goes & brings home carry out if he is working in the area. I have 3 kids, 35 yr. Old son, 30 yr. Old daughter & 24 year old daughter who also love Telway!!? We usually get a bunch of Hotdogs with everything, chili fries & onion rings!!? We bring home enough to give to our kids!! Lol. ? The staff is always friendly. Keep up the good work ?!! As a matter of fact my husband & I just went last Saturday! I grew up in Royal Oak, so we stopped at a few of my favorite places & his!!?
Super friendly and cute little walk up place. Food's good too and shakes are to die for. Prices aren't too bad either.
Great sliders but good luck trying to place an order over the phone. They don’t answer the phone and most don’t want to order at the window and wait on-site for 30 minutes… It’s too bad, because the sliders are great and service use to be way better.
I have been going to this slider joint for as long as I can remember, 35+ years. And it seems like the quality of the slider never changes: Still greasy, still unhealthy, still delicious.For all of you bar hoppers out there, this will sober you up. It's that good. Can't say it does much for a hangover. Maybe stop drinking?

Was great. Better than I remember. I Was there on New Year's Eve. Fun and friendly. The line was a bit long but still worth it
Man I love this place, killer burgers and fries for like a dollar a pop. If you're in the area stop and get 5 or 10, have a good time live your life. Be careful about moving into this area as you'll wake up in the middle of the night having sleep walked over for burgers, it's dangerous.
