We stopped in on a whim because of the good reviews. We ordered a large portion of Tom Kah soup and dumplings. The soup didn't have mushrooms which we are used to having in the soup and it needed a little spice but the flavor was excellent and the large portion was more than enough to satisfy us. The dumplings were good but the dipping sauce was great. It too needed a little spice. We liked that lunch prices for the entrees we're less than dinner prices. We would return if we are back in the area.
I got the N1 Pad Thai Dinner with Spring Rolls. Very delicious large portion size, the Mild+ was just perfect for me. Definitely will be ordering again.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner, because I was excited about the curry puffs, which I'd heard of and no other Thai restaurants I researched offered them. My wife and I were the only diners in while all other traffic was for take away: to that point, the service for us was quick, but stiff and not very friendly. As for the food itself, it was quite tasty. I would call it Chinese influenced in texture and taste, but that may be because of the dishes we ate that both had brown gravies (only one of them said it had a brown gravy on the menu). I was surprised that the dishes were not more sour, which is what I love about Thai food. The apple salad, while delicious, was not nearly the sour experience I was craving. The Tom Yum soup, which I also hoped to be wonderfully sour, was more sweet, but still tasty. In the end, the curry puffs made the dinner worth the visit, and I will come back again when I am in the mood for the curry puffs and this version of Thai food. I gave it a three, but I would have given a three and a half.
My husband and I decided to try this place and all our expectations were exceeded! They have a wide range of menu that I haven’t seen in any other Thai place we’ve been so we tried the curry puffs, duck curry, and wonton soup along with our usual crab Rangoon. All the items we ordered were beyond delicious. They tasted fresh and not greasy. Cooked to perfection especially the Rangoon. The sauce also provided a good balance to the crispness of the Rangoon and puffs. This place is a hole in the wall. The inside is also well kept and modernized. We will definitely come back to this place as this is now our number 1 go to Thai restaurant! Bonus is that the staff were friendly and attentive :)
My gym trainer recommended this restaurant as the best in metro Detroit. I do believe it’s pretty high up there. We ordered fried vegetable rolls, crab rangoon, curry puffs, chicken pad Thai, and the Thai iced tea. The iced tea was the best I’ve had in a long time, so good that even if the food was bad ( it wasn’t, thankfully!), I’d still go back just for the tea. The pad Thai was a bit different from the ones we’ve had and liked, but it had serious flavor going on! I’d like to try it again, but with shrimp & tofu and a little less heat. My husband devoured all the veggie rolls, and we fought a bit over the last crab rangoon. The curry puffs were unique, I’ve never had deep-fried dumplings with curried filling before, so that was also a good experience.Overall, food was great, and I look forward to going back to try more dishes from their menu!
Fantastic food with friendly service. Menu has unique dishes that I haven’t found at other Thai places in the area.
This Thai food is among the best I have had . I enjoy Thai Food almost weekly. I Read the reviews and decided to try the food. Wow ! Delicious and authentic. I ordered Drunken Noodles with Chicken and Shrimp. I ordered medium plus. It was spot on. The chicken was so flavorful.I was not disappointed and can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
Prior to visiting, my Thai restaurant experience has always been the same. Good, but nothing too extraordinary. This establishment broke the cycle. Service was speedy and great, but let's get to the food. I had the curry bombs and drunken noodle. Quality, quality, quality. Both had an immense amount of flavor that will keep me coming back. Highly recommended for you thai lovers!
Tried this new place because our normal Thai restaurant is closed on the weekends & we were very pleased with what we got! We got the spicy chicken in the Thai sauce & it was soooo good! So comparable to our normal place! (I say this because every Thai place has their own twist on some menu items). Will definitely return
Friendly service and delicious pad thai. I recently got their crab rangoons and they are really good too. Pick up order is ready fast which is great when you are on your lunch break ?
