I was in there Wednesday July 27th at around 7:30-8:45pm. Initially we spent 12 minutes waiting for the bartender to ask us about drinks. When she did she didn’t ask ask us about food and walked away too fast. When she returned with the drinks. She still walked away without asking about food and not giving the opportunity to mention it. Finally we were able to order food. While waiting on our food we asked for more drinks 4 times and she always forgot to bring them. After that 4th time asking, she finally brought drinks. Now my lady received her food and I received part of mine. I ordered mild wings and fries. The fries came but not the wings. I noticed the bartender put wings under the bar. I mentioned it and she said “oh yeah these are yours”. I actually had the fries for 15 minutes before I received the wrong wings. Now she brought the jerk chicken ones. Not what was ordered and only reinforces the point that she paid no attention to us. With the amount of time I waited for the wings. I decided to cancel the food order instead of the bartender having them remade. Now it would have been better if the bartender had tried to make it right but she just brushed it off. To add to the issue, the bartender was eating while she was working. Sitting there watching her eat while I was not able. If I was the owner I’d be upset that a customer that has ordered carry out and dined in about 50 times over 2 years, had to go to a competitor to simply eat dinner. Its sad because this place has been amazing but the past few times there’s been service issues. In conclusion the bartender in question needs to pay attention to what is going on and. It so much attention to her friends she seemed to hang with at the end of the bar.
We love Irish Tavern! Tonight was our first delivery disappointment. My husband's fish n chips had old, dark, leathery brown fries instead of, (like mine, and every other time we ordered) the wonderful light colored fresh cut fries. Hoping its a one off. Great burgers!Wednesday's the are only $10 including fries. Mary, the bartender, is a hoot and a pleasure to talk to. Shepherds pie is some of the best I have ever had! Have gone back 4 weeks in a row on Burger Wednesday
Very disappointed in portions and the fact that the small amount of coleslaw was put in container of fish and chips which made for warm coleslaw. I placed a carry out from Sara and left her a tip and not even a thank you. When I called to tell her I was a first time dissatisfied customer I was offered a free dessert next time I ordered ?
My buddy and I stopped in on a Friday evening and the place was pretty busy. We each ordered a draft beer and split some nachos. The beer was good but not cold enough. The nachos were loaded up nicely and the service was good too. A guy was setting up to play some music but we didn't stay long enough to hear anything - maybe next time.
Great food, fun atmosphere and delicious drinks! As close as you can get to Ireland in the states! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend stopping by for a pint and some food!
Don't let the name fool you. I don't offer look at Taverns for creative foods but this place is awesome. Great variety and yummy foods. The staff is super funny and sweet and they often play live music.

Good food, slow kitchen for brunch on 2 occasions 7 months apart, slow service.They also upcharge to pay with a card, which is not communicated until you are given the bill.4 star food, 1 star for wait time and service (2 occasions), disappointed in the unannounced and unexplained upcharge.
Great food, my boyfriend said the burger I brought home for him was one of the best he's had. Their apps were good and the staff was kind and took good care of us even though they were busy and short staffed. We cannot wait to go back!
