I visited the Dequindre road location on Saturday May 21st. I was in the area, so I decided to wait in the parking lot for the location to open at 11:00 am. 15 minutes before 11:00 am. the worker walked up to the door and decided to open the store. I could see him moving around in the kitchen and turning on lights in the back. 11 am rolled around, the worker did not unlock the store door. 11:10 a.m. came by still no open. I called the store telephone. The worker was standing in the front working on some task. He totally ignored the phone. By 11:20 I got out of my vehicle (mind you, it was raining really hard outside) and walked up to the door to let the worker see that he had a customer. The worker acted as if he didn't see me. He looked like he was slicing some type of food with a machine and he didn't even have on gloves. I became grossed out by seeing how nasty acting that he was (and unsanitary). I left because I didn't want someone like him making any type of food for me. (If he's acting this crazy now, what would stop him from doing something terrible if he felt annoyed).I left from this location and went to Star Deli in Southfield. My sandwich was awesome and the customer service was amazing. Check out Star Deli if you get a chance good people.
We Ordered on Uber Eats. We ordered a Large Turkey Decker club sandwich, mac and cheese bites, corned beef egg roll, German Chocolate Cake & Peach Cobbler. The egg roll tasted like oil, the inside was a ok flavor. The mac & cheese bites were a good value but a little less quality than pub food. The Turkey club we asked for large size but got 3 slices of bread and cut in half once, it also came on wheat bread but was supposed to be white bread. The over flavor was decent on the sandwich. The German Chocolate cake was nothing of the sort. It was just a piece of chocolate cake single layer with some attempt at a icing (which i think they forgot the sugar) The peach cobbler also seemed to not be sweet and was lacking sugar as well. Also overall takeout packaging maybe don't put the pickle and dressing in with the brownie.
Bread basket Deli is the best deli in the tri-county area. Hands down. Best Reuben sandwich you will find. No that place in Ann Arbor isn't even close.
Was excited to see this location so close to work but the food was not as good as the Livonia or downriver locations. Was disappointed after the first bite.
There a great new chilli there, that is awesome and very good plus the employees there are great. I’ve seen them all cause the chilli has had me there for two days straight.
I placed a DoorDash on 1-4-21. At first I was annoyed when they forgot my drink. Then when I bit into my fries I found hair. Anyone would be disgusted by this. But the bad experience continued when I called them and they argued all the employees have hats and that the DoorDasher had to have purposely went out of their way to open my food and place hair in my fries. Ridiculous…I know.Zoom in to the photo if you want to see the disgusting hairsMaybe the owner will reach out to me to get to the bottom of this or maybe businesses just don’t care about these health issues anymore
I ordered 2 9 oz. Corn-beef sandwiches, and we enjoyed them immensely! They were s little bit more expensive, as everything is these days, but I think the quality of meat is much better and so worth it!!!
This place is HORRIBLE. Food is decent, but the service is abysmal. I called in an order for myself and several of the guys I work with. As soon as the guy answered the phone, I knew it wasn’t going to go well. I could barely understand what he was saying and he seemed to know less about the menu than I did. God help you if you have a special request! I even had him read the order back to me to make sure it was correct, and it was, so I kept my fingers crossed and showed up at the location approximately 30 min later. Turns out, they got the order wrong and they were out of pastrami for two of the sandwiches I ordered. I never received a call notifying that they were short of ingredients. Also, the guy at the register had street clothes on - no uniform - and neither cook was wearing a hair net. When I told him the order was wrong, he tried to argue with my until I clarified that I was the one that spoke to him on the phone 30 min earlier. I watched him interact with other customers too. The guy is mentally impaired for sure. Maybe it’s a developmental issue, or maybe he’s just high on the job, but there’s definitely something going on. He is completely incapable of performing the basic duties of his job. He is also completely care free of all things going on around him, which makes me think he is on drugs. He’s just not paying attention to what he’s doing - he’s on cruise control. With a place as bad as this it makes you wonder what ownership is up to. Don’t come here!

I walk in, order my Sammy, and 5 or 6 minutes later I'm on my way. Their corned beef is great (Sy Ginsberg) thanks for the nice job you all do there!
