The food was good, prices were ok. They had a few tables and a lot of takeout orders when we were there, and they seemed to only have one waitress and one cook, so the service was a little slow. The waitress was very friendly despite being very busy.
WORST Meatloaf I have EVER tasted!! I ordered 2 dinners. Would rather eat dog food. Delivered by Grub Hub, they contacted the restaurant and got me a refund. Will NEVER order from Joe Jo's ever again.
LOVE this place! Food a great but the staff is even better. Always greeted with a smile. Definitely recommend.
Very quaint and clean restaurant. The menu has a little bit of everything!! They also have daily specials!!!
Great food, fastest service ever and clean! Down the street! Been going for 15 years!
Came in here, nice little atmosphere. Waitress was nice, and friendly. Food was good. Came out quick. Great prices!
This is a lovely place to eat. My mother races about this place, but this was my first time there. We walked in and we're immediately greeted by two smiling waitresses. We were instructed to sit anywhere we liked, and within 30 seconds of sitting down, out waitress was taking our drink order. I just had water, but the glass was clean, the water was icy cold, and served with a straw. I ordered the spinach pie dinner, served with rice pilaf and soup or salad. I opted for the clam chowder. The clam chowder was hot, tasty, and served with a package of oyster crackers. It was delicious. A very thick and creamy consistency. Or had no indications of separation, which you often find in lesser homemade soups. I mentioned my high praise for the soup to our waitress, and she said her husband is there cook, and he takes great pride in his food. It really shows. The last time I had a good spinach pie, was years ago, from Emily's, in St. Claire Shores. This one was different in there was less lemon taste, and a lack of notable whole pine nuts. However, that in no way diminished the taste or quality of this pie. It was delectable! It has great taste, nice consistency, and a wonderfully lightly browned, very flaky crust. I will say I do prefer my own pilaf, but that's only because I put more personal additives in mine. For a general pilaf, to appeal to all, his pilaf was done excellently.Joe Jo's has my compliments, as well as my business the next time I'm up that way. Please try it!
Always great food and friendly service. Food comes out fast and the coffee keeps flowing. Highly recommend!
Let me start by saying there are new owners here since February of 2021. 1st time coming to Joe Jo's this past Sunday and we were greeted fast and friendly and was seated. We went in for breakfast and the coffee was poured literally as soon as we sat down, and the refills came around everytime my cup was low. My wife and I both went with skillets and they were fantastic. My wife had a country skillet and I had the Joe Jo's skillet with my eggs over easy. It was perfect, as soon as I dug into the skillet the egg opened up and my meal was absolutely what I have been looking for. This skillet was the best one I have had in a long time. Better than any local dinners I have been too. I will most definitely come back and try something new. The menu has a wide variety of food so everyone has a pretty decent choice to choose from. The owner swung by our table to say high and had a very nice conversation with them. All around had a great experience, breakfast was on point!
Went there the first time after they have changed owner. Great experience. Menu with more selections and were made right. The owner was our waitress. Her Great service, big friendly smile, and not nickle-n-dime on some minor modification (add onion into harshbrown) and substitution (sausage instead of ham)have won us over. We are going to patron more frequently from now on. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the eggs on my Benedict were not runny like it should. But they tasted good.
