A family restaurant that was unexpectedly very good! Clean, lots of menu choices, and an excellent staff. Had the chicken sandwich, expected it to be dry but was happily surprised how moist and flavorful it was. Only thing missing was a buffalo sauce option. My wife had a salad that was more than generous. We are planning to definitely go back and will bring our friends and family, too.
No frills, good ole polish food! Some of the best kraut I've eaten.Soups we're good too.
Come to Thomas's Family Dining on Thursday for the most amazing German Tomato Soup. I love the Polish Plate that comes with Kielbasa, Pierogi, Stuffed Cabbage, Mashed Potatoes, and Sauerkraut. You'll need a to go box!Post COVID-19 update: Thomas's is fully operational, with dividers between booths, hand sanitizers at each table was well.The wait staff is amazing, and so are the chefs! New tech in place had the waitress taking your order on a wireless device then she takes payment right at the table too!Tonight we had apple pie and butter pecan ice cream for dessert. The pie was so good, and it turns out they bake it on site!
Great service and atmosphere. 1st time eating city chicken. Oh no bad choice. The menu could have more simple varieties. Like roast beef and chicken pamersan.. bought a slice of carrot cake to go for desert and paid almost 6 bucks. I was disappointed of how tiny the slice was.
Server was nice and meals came out fairly quickly. I had asked for one item to be removed & the meal was made correctly. They kept our coffee full & warm which is always a plus in my book.
Absolutely delicious, as always and enjoyed my birthday at Thomas's too! Pecan Chicken was amazing and always nice to see Mark!??
Remarkable venue for affordable, tasty comfort food. Onion soup is exceptional. Meat loaf is terrific. Sirloin pork chop is an unexpected surprise. Pecan chicken is out-of-this-world good. Portions are generous: you won't go away hungry.Time after time, the food at Thomas has been terrific. Next time you visit Livonia, visit Thomas' Family Dining.
This is not inexpensive food! Breakfast today was POOR such as hash browns VERY dry and room temperature. Toast was room temperature and NO butter. The omelet was slightly warm!! POOR kitchen timing management at best. Eaten there before and the hah brown temperature is NOT uncommon.Don't even think of replying to tell the server - it's not there job to manage the food prep.
Thomas is one of my all time favorite places to eat. Everything I have tried is really good here. I have tried quite a number of dishes since I go here once a week on average for at least 5 years. The staff is very friendly as well and it's clean on the floor and in the restroom.My only complaint is that they have not brought the full menu back still.I had 2 menu items that were my favorites: the Veal Parmesan and the Bread Pudding. Both are better than anywhere else I go around here.My favorite things on the menu currently are the Greek Salad, which is awesome with a beautiful presentation. A Platter overflowing with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, pepperoni, olives, beets, and feta. With their special pink Greek dressing.Also their French Onion Soup is delicious.I also love their skillets especially the one with peppers and onions in it. Delicious❤
Thomas’s restaurant is amazing: I just enjoyed a late dinner here with my Father. The service was impeccable. The food was second to none. They use high-quality ingredients and everything is homemade. A rare business where everything works in perfect harmony together. It’s the small details that really count. Bathroom was immaculate. Thomas’s endless praise and their reputation is growing by the day. This is one of the very best restaurants in Michigan.
