The sushi is delicious highly recommend.
For my son's birthday he chose a Japanese steak house where they cook in front of you, as his birthday dinner. Since we were unable to get into the more common one, I had to look for somewhere else.. found this one, had decent reviews, so we decided to try it. I'm so glad we did, everyone had a great exprience with their food, the filet was so tasty and tender, my husband Said it was probably one of the best steaks he had in his lifetime. They gave my son a slice of cheesecake for his birthday. We would actually chose this place over benihana from now on.
Chef was amazing. Place was not busy, and yet we had horrible service. The moment we arrived, we overheard the staff saying they were short staffed (but to further clarify, the place had about 16 people with 2 servers and a manager). Our server didn't clear our plates or refill our drinks. He made us feel very rushed and uncomfortable. Our section immediately packed up our food and left. The bill automatically includes a tip which is not clearly stated. I understand that servers can be overwhelmed at times; however, guests pay to have a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Please take care of them first instead of ignoring them and having chat sessions
Other then the steak that seem to be a strange cut so it was weird chewy but everything else was great the chef was amazing the server was on top of it just a good time
If I could have rated this place any lower I would. The entire experience was below FDA approval. I was there for my birthday celebration and service was horrific. We waited an hour to be seated then when we were FINALLY seated it took another hour to get the chef out to cook. My party requested a manager and were told there was no manager working. The lights were turned off and they had cleaned up the restaurant like it was closing time but we hadn’t been served. The food was mediocre and the staff was unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.
This restaurant experience was a mess. Totally ruined my niece 16th birthday dinner. Our waitress Alexis did not have any help and the Manager Rachel choice of words was out of line. Our food order was never turned in to the cooks. Our 7:00 PM reservation was not honored when we arrived with our party at 6:55 PM. A previous party said their reservation was 45 minutes behind as they left the bar to be seated at 7:20 PM. I took a picture of when we was partially set at 7:38 PM (picture attached). Our order was taken at ,8:51 PM and we received our salads around 9:30 PM (CLOSING TIME). This was my first time here and I am truly not happy with the experience. I really felt bad for our waitress. She was trying her best even with tears in her eyes and shaking from frustration.
The food was good, and they were very busy. However, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. They wouldn't seat me and my family until our friends arrived. They were late for the reservation, but only by 15 minutes. They kept pushing us back, telling us we would be seated in a few minutes. (We had the option of sitting at a regular table, but they didn't tell us that.) While we were waiting, I grabbed my girlfriend a drink. (By this time, about 20 minutes had already gone by.) I probably waited at the bar for 20 minutes before someone was available to take my order. There was nobody working in the bar area, and when she showed up, I had to ask to order a drink because she just stood there. After I got her drink, we waited another 20-30 minutes. One of the other people in our party asked about a regular table. So, we finally get a table! It's not a hibachi table, though. Whatever. But we get back to the table and it's freezing back there. I had to go back out to my car and get my coat, a hoodie, and a blanket just for my family to keep warm. (Not an exaggeration.) Apparently, the heater back there is broken, but didn't bother telling us before we got seated. There were other tables back there complaining, too. For the amount of money spent there for dinner, if we're not going to get the show at a hibachi table or heat in the room we had to eat in, at least offer some kind of discount! The only reason they even get a star is because the food tasted good. But the service was disgustingly awful!
My first time with my husband. We had a great time. I love the chef he’s friendly and lot’s of tricks he entertained us… The food is so good! Love to comeback highly recommended… ??
The food was pretty good, shrimp and salmon prepared pretty well. The rice was a little undercooked and for some reason in the middle of February (the coldest month), they were blasting the AC!! We also waited an additional 40 minutes to be seated after making a 5 o'clock reservation. I wouldn't chalk this place as I've heard good things. They probably were just having an off night.
I went here for my daughter's birthday and it was GREAT! The food was delicious there was a little wait but it was worth it! Excellent service!!!
