Freaking DISGUSTING. Salsa tastes like pizza sauce water and pepper,portions are SMALL. Food was cold and enchiladas didn’t even have sauce on them they were not willing to remake it. Run far from here . I was fooled by the reviews until I came here. Paper plates really? Go to Mexican fiesta for a REAL meal that tastes good and is cost worthy
I've been eating here for 15 years. They've always had the same issues with staffing and such because it's pretty much a family joint and them and people that know them are who work there. That said....I'm used to it! The food however is always quality and extremely consistent! They also have raised their prices maybe 10 percent over the past 2 COVID filled years. As far as I'm concerned this all constitutes a home run and unless something drastic happens Old Mexico will always get 5 stars from me. I believe in the little guy and local ownership!
Great food! Even with a decent-size dining room, it's packed. And prices are reasonable. Looking forward to getting home to enjoy my deep fried tacos.
We moved away but came here on Sat. Glad we did! Very very sweet waitress (wish I knew her name..it was in the afternoon around 2:30). Food and prices were great! The homemade salsa was to die for! We will be back again!!!!
Nice little neighborhood restaurant. We like the food and usually do take out, but dined in to celebrate a 1/2 day of school. They are, like many places, under staffed right now and it was extremely slow service, but still we still had good food.This is their fried ice cream about 1/3 of the way through. Reminds me of the old ChiChis dessert.
So not good, we got take out - the salsa is super watery and no flavor, the enchiladas suiza was filled with a sloppy premade (like Gordon foods premade bucket of filling) chicken mixture with maybe a teaspoon of green sauce over the enchiladas. The chicken fajitas had very few vegetables and the chicken was tough. The rice was VERY old and mush, the beans were old and consistency of kindergarten paste. Just so so bad ... truly do not understand the good reviews. Will NEVER go back.
I came to get carry out on a Saturday and there is only one person working the counter and serving all the guests, she is doing a fabulous job keeping it all under control! She is polite and is making sure all the guests and people for carry out are taken care of while answering the phone. I didn’t get her name but the one working on 2/5/22 is amazing!!
This is hands down the worst Mexican food I’ve had in my entire life. Queso could not even be eaten. Salsa also could not even be eaten. Waitress was not good had to different waitress for drinks and bill. It was no joke like 60° in the place. Only good thing was how fast the food came out and no wait. But I can see why as the wet burrito and enchiladas where so awful left with plates full

Always very good. Large portions for the price. Nice employees that provide solid service. Highly recommend. Could use a deep cleaning but that's most restaurants. If they had above average sanitary conditions I'd five star it. It's not overly dirty either. Just normal restaurant stuff.
