All of our fish entrees were overcooked, thus dry and without taste. On a plus side, the staff was pleasant and helpful.
Was at Mitchell's for a birthday dinner. Had the ruby red trout which was excellent. Had a birthday dessert of their creme-brulee - first class. Our server, Manney was on top of everything. Very attentive and fun. An all-around enjoyable evening.
the Seafood Cobb salad is fabulous and easily feeds two.
Great food and polished environment, but our waitress didn't blend in with that level of restaurant. She was rough and a bit gruff for a special birthday dinner.
I like the atmosphere and They’re food are awesome from the appetiser to the main dish and specially the dessert (Creme brullee) I enjoyed every bit of it ?
We went to Mitchell's to escape the heat and was very glad we did. The service was outstanding and both our dishes ( the trout and stuffed cod) were delicious. It wasn't too crowded so was quiet. A very wonderful dinner on a hot day.
The food was very good as always, but the service was a tad slow (though not frustratingly slow - it just felt like too much time was passing between the time we time we were seated and the server came by, time it took to bring out drinks, then bring out salads/appetizers, etc). The restaurant wasnât busy either. I really enjoy Mitchellâs food and tend to get takeout as the service is typically slow, even when I ask the server to not step out the meal.
Good: bacon BBQ shrimp, potatoes, and vegetables. Bad: service. My wife and I sat down and were greeted just fine (friendly server). A 6 top set down about 10 minutes later. Long story short, the 6 top was almost finished with their entrees before we got ours. My steak tasted good but was overdone (probably from sitting under a heat lamp too long). It's a bummer because we've heard great things about this place from multiple people but sounds like we just had a bad experience.
