The staff was great and the food was amazing.
The owner of this restaurant is extremely rude about children coming into his restaurant. He has a very rude and snobby demeanor to him and claims they do not “cater” to children under 13.. well that seems very discriminatory and horrible for business. I will never entertain giving this business a dime.. my 5 yr old daughter has more common sense and manors in her little body, than the 60 something yr old bald owner of this poor establishment.
Extremely rude staff!! Not kid friendly. Food is way over priced and bland. Hell, I’d go to Taco Bell before ever coming back here!
This place was AMAZING‼️‼️‼️ The place we were originally going to had an hour wait so we came to this place. It looked like it was closed from the outside but I decided to check the door and they were open. I think it’s the tint on the windows that makes it look as if no one is in there and the parking lot seemed empty. Anyway, the building is nice, the interior is nice and clean, the ambience is nice, the food is so fresh and delicious, the service is immaculate, the staff are super professional. We literally had nothing but great things to say about this place! I live close to an hour away and I would definitely make the trip again and again. When we arrived it was only one other couple in the building so we thought maybe business was slow. We must’ve came just in time because as soon as we sat down people started coming in quick. I would suggest making a reservation which we will do the next time around as well just to be on the safe side. I had the Mahi mahi tacos with a side of rice and beans, chips and guacamole as an appetizer and this warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top! Everything was DELICIOUS‼️‼️‼️EVERYTHING‼️The group I was with all enjoyed their food as well! Thanks for an awesome meal and experience!
Came here as a recommendation from one of the cooks, who frequents my place of work, finally we had time to go and we were not at all disappointed! I first noticed the relaxing atmosphere and the vibe was really nice. Our drinks came quick and we’re all very tasty, and garnished beautifully! The food was absolutely delicious , plated tastefully and something that was definitely worth the recommendation and I always tell people to come here. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
This is a good restaurant, they have a good dish variety of authentic Mexican food beyond the usual stuff that you find in most Mexican restaurants. They have more elaborate dishes like pescado a la talla that is hard find even in Mexico. Food has a very nice presentation and tastes. Waitress Lety was really kind and helped with suggestions.
Food is SO good!! This is more expensive then typical Mexican restaurants. However, it is authentic and totally worth it. Service was great as well. Can’t wait to go back!
My sister and I frequent Maya often. We genuinely enjoy this place. The food and service have always been wonderful. It’s a much more refined take on Mexican food. No cheap salsa out of a jar. Always quality food.The restaurant presents itself in a mature manner. I’m glad to have a place in which I won’t have to listen to a screaming child for the duration of the meal.

Its not easy finding a high end Mexican restaurant. I have a friend that loves Mexican food and was looking for something extraordinary for her birthday dinner. Found this place after a search on Google MapsThe food and drinks were all delicious!!! I like a good smoky Mezcal and the Mezcalita was surprisingly good without being too sweet. If you're into sweeter drinks the pomegranate margarita was tasty as well. The chips and salsa were what I expected after reading the reviews. They have a roasted pepper flavor with a slight kick. I had the Ribeye Huitlacoche for entrée which is one of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had!!! It was slightly undercooked (I ordered it medium and it came out medium rare) but I like a good medium rare steak. So it wasn't a huge deal to me, especially considering how delicious the spices and flavors were.The service was top notch. Our waiter was very professional and gave us just the right amount of attention. I also was very aware of how clean the place is. As soon as one party left, someone was immediately there to clean and disinfect the area for the next party. The restrooms were clean. I could see the owner wiping down door handles, etc. which gave me a great feeling. You can tell that he really takes pride in his establishment.I read reviews about this place before I came and of course there are some both positive and negative. While the owner does have a somewhat serious and intense demeanor, he was nothing but pleasant to me and my party. I even saw at one point another group left and must have left something behind on the table. The owner saw it and ran out the door after them to return their property.I would definitely come back again for a date night or with a group of adults.
