My husband and I go to this location 1 to 2 times weekly, but to see a review of where the manager or owners are stealing tips, we will not be back...FYI you can report them to the state of Michigan. This isn't the first time I have heard of this happening at Coney Islands. We don't support theives, we support our waitresses.
They don't deserve a one. They stole the tip I left the waitress and refused to give it to her. I used my visa and showed it to them from my account. When they put it through they used another waitresses name so she got the tip. I dont think she was even there. I will tell every single person I know and don't know. They are thieves. Shameful.
My son and I stopped in for an early dinner. I ordered the chili dog wit fries and a pop meal. Everything was fine until I noticed a hair in my chili that was black on one end and grey on the other. I have no grey hair and my hair is brown as well...so I knew it wasnt mine. It was also way shorter than my very long hair as well. I told the waitress and she took the chili away and brought another one..I told her no ty. Then the Manager or Supervisor came over..I am assuming thats who she was, as she never introduced herself as such. She proceeded to ask me if I had a dog.....and stated that no one there had that color hair...so she knew it was not from them.? I told her no, and then she told me she wasnt saying I did it, but it just couldnt be anyone that worked there! ?Then she took 10% off (1.58 total discount?). I paid my bill and left our waitress the normal 20%, she had long hair and was young..there was no way it was her hair and she did her job to the best of her ability. I looked around and noticed an older lady that worked there had her hair half black and half gray ?. What a coincidence!???
Every time I order something is forgotten. This time they forgot food and the food is dry (unenable). When called to speak to a Manger I was hung up on. Called back again they answered but just hung up. Called again from another number. Finly got a Manger for him. He was rude, not help full at all. Then he proceeded to hang up on us yet again. I can't believe how unprofessional this place is. Wow just wow will never order from this place again. My 10 and 7 year old would not even eat there food. They said is tast werid. $52 FOR NOTHING do not waste your time ordering from here.
I never give bad reviews to restaurants to restaurants,aa I have previously waitressed and understand things happen and try to be patient but every time I come to this restaurant there always seems to be a problem with the staff. This most recent time dining, my mother and I waited 25 minutes to not be served. 5 tables sat down after us and two on either side of us and were served while we waited and the waitresses ignored us. We ended up just leaving. I'm super disappointed because the food is good. Skip this Leo's and just go to the Culver's down the road.
Food is always great and so is the service. You get your food fast even when they are busy.
My kabob was burnt, the pita was burnt, the rice was dry. Even though it comes as a meal, they still charged me for the rice since they had delivered it. Bad etiquette- should stick by no charge if it was that nasty, as I politely expressed. Waitress was nice.
Always cheerful waitress and excellent food. One down side is the bald headed with a 5 o clock shadow cook that seems to have an attitude problem towards the waitress. With that attitude maybe another gig is best for him
Usually great. On occasion had a not so great meal. The majority of the time, everything is always great, fast and friendly. Good place for a quick,but not fast food meal. Definitely recommend for a quick enjoyable breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
OMG me and family was hungry today so went there because not many restaurants were open. 1st food was cold, they didn’t have turkey sausage, I ask wings to be fried hard they weren’t, something was in my squeeze cheese and my cup look like some one bit on it…. Can’t go there anymore to many mistakes!!!!
