The food is fantastic and the servers are great but the manager leaves a lot to be desired. Went for lunch today. A group of 12 grown adults were screaming to the point that every other table was complaining. Multiple tables requested the manager so the table to keep it down and the manager refused. The staff was visibly embarrassed that the manner would not do anything and were apologizing profusely to all the other customers. The managers job is to make sure that all customers have an enjoyable experience, not just one group. He was rude and dismissive to everyone’s complaints. I watched the manager kick out two women who complained and his behavior was disgusting.

One of my top five carry out places! They pack everything up so nicely. I appreciate that they don’t use Styrofoam containers that mush all the food together. I appreciate that they separate the lettuce tomato…toppings- I like that they changed the pick-up process to the front area instead of walking to the tiki hut area? they are the only Mexican food restaurant in the area, that I can think of, that includes a bag of chips and salsa just as if you were in the restaurant itself. NICE TOUCH The enchiladas were tasty- very filling- I wish they would season the chicken or dip it in the Rojo sauce just to get a little more flavor? The price wasn’t too bad, compared to other items on the menu-
Although we had to wait for an hour for a free table, the visit was worth it. Friendly staff, nice drinks and good food for a very reasonable price. Totally recommend!
So good!! When my Monster Burrito came, I thought I was on an episode of Man vs Food! Lol. Everything was delicious. Drinks were good. Service was great. It was very busy but we were impressed with the service. Will definitely be returning.
I came across this restaurant on the Detroit Diet Instagram page so I dragged my friend to come try it with me! This place gives me tropical vibes which is cool because it’s been chilly outside. The chips are made in house, so when they got to the table they were fresh and warm. The salsa was very fresh as well. We ordered the queso which was delicious! I tried the pineapple margarita but wasn’t a fan. If you like spicy drinks definitely try, I just wasn’t a fan. I settled with the frozen strawberry mango margarita.So my friend and I feasted. We ordered the shrimp tacos, Mahi-Mahi tacos, and birria tacos (the birria tacos is what got us here). We weren’t disappointed! Everything was super delicious. Above expectations. My friend and I are serious foodies so we are very critical of everything.Overall great experience. We did wait 15 mins to be seated, we weren’t expecting this place to be popular. It’s not like the Mexican food in SW detroit but it is delicious!
Tried to make a reservation for 10 people for a business lunch. Manager said it does not matter how many people we are first come first serve. This does not work for an important customer
Delicious birria tacos I highly recommend! This grilled chicken quesadilla was also amazing. The portion sizes are huge and very filling they add a lot of protein. The service was good. The seating is mostly tables not a lot of booths. The pins colada was also delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant! We can’t wait to be back.
The service is great and fast.The food was really good and very generous portions.The price was decent for the amount of food served.The only thing I didn't like was that one of the salsa bowls was not clean and the utensils as well, so we had to order new ones.
