I really don’t understand why there is an abundance of negative comments, I’ve been here 3 times now and every time it’s been wonderful! I don’t think it’s overpriced at all, especially the gluten free option. Other places charge way more! If you want refined sugar and corn syrup , than feel free to go to one of the many chain of donut shops. This might be a different pace especially from what your used too so let your palette try the real thing! I’d also like to thank the ladies that worked there, they were polite and kind and offered us a free sample! I definitely will be coming back. Thank you !
The Donut Bar we had was the hit of the party. Can’t wait to order again!
The donut dough tastes chewy and not fresh. I went at 8:05am and they open at 8am. There was only one person working who did not greet me. I wait 15 minutes to be waited on. Donuts average about $4.00 each which is fine but I expect such an expensive donut to be amazing. The donuts are definitely not amazing. They all taste the same and are actually gross. There are very pretty but tasteless.
If I'm going to pay $3-4 for a donut, I kind of want it to be life-changing, you know? The Donut Bar's Boston Cream not only wasn't, it was actually bad. Just, bad. Bitter, not sweet at all, took two bites and I was done. The Raspberry Cream Cheese was a bit better, but just really bland overall. The kid behind the counter looked pretty unhappy and wasn't friendly at all. Wish this had been a better experience because I truly love donuts, but I won't be going back.
I’m posting this based on 2 things:These reviews are incredibly misleading & second, there isn’t one coffee shop around here that has fresh brewed gourmet Illy coffee, or makes donuts fresh every morning from scratch.(Hey Starbucks, dunkin donuts..Tim Hortons ? where everything is processed & prepackaged from frozen, or layered in additive sugars). You might need a palate cleansing if you’re used to your daily sugary & burnt Starbucks standard coffees and frozen-to-thawed out “fresh” Tim hortons donuts before coming here. These donuts aren’t just good donuts, they’re GOOD GOOD ?As far as pricing, gourmet quality fresh from scratch is going to cost you extra (and WELL WORTH IT for $3)- bakers’ hands & labor aren’t free. Otherwise, a box of machine batch made frozen donuts might be more up your alley if you’re looking to get a batch of donuts for $1 or less. If that’s what you’re used to, your wallet might also need a small palette cleansing if you’re not used to quality made. There are VERY few local shops around here that make their own donuts from scratch. And as a former vegan of 11 years, the vegan options are some of the best I’ve had (I’d die for that maple walnut, & coco loco was VERY close behind).Skip the small $7 sugary “skinny” no whip mocha frappe “coffee” & save it for the donut bar. Thank me later ?
I got a few doughnuts when I came here. They were pretty good. They're a bit overpriced in my opinion but it's nice to try at least once. I have to say though, the employees that I interacted with were really great! Super nice and helpful. I kind of want to try their shakes if I come in again.
Maybe it was because I had super high expectations, but the donuts at this place are really not good. Not just like "sorta alright", but actually not good. And they sell out of everything really fast. I get that once they're sold out, they're sold out, but I was here at noon on Saturday and they only had like 3 flavors left. The vegan donuts are especially not good. $16 for 6 donuts - just stick with Dunkin' or Tim Hortons, seriously. I'm only giving it 2 stars because they do have some unusual flavors (even though I didn't get to try them b/c they were sold out).
This place has changed me ? I love the Tres Leche donut!!! But.. the caramel latte has made me fall in love and break up with Starbucks!!!! Thanks!!??
All the donuts besides the cake donuts are the exact same donut, the only difference is topping and fillings.Almost none of the toppings and fillings are homemade either (even though they claim to be 100% homemade).I'm posting this for the second time because they deleted it the first time.Employees are all underpaid too, which is why there's so many complaints about them being rude.I know all this because I worked there.
Donuts were good. However, as soon as my BF and I walked in one of the workers just stared at us and didn’t help us.. or greet us.. but another kind worker helped us.
