Please check your order before leaving the restaurant, even though they staple the containers. I ordered 2 ribs dinners, and one dinner DID NOT even have baby back ribs in it.The ribs weren't meaty or tender, and only the back of the ribs had BBQ sauce applied. It looked like they brought cheap ribs, cooked it at home, and brought it to work! I will not go to the Livonia Chicken Shack again!
Stopped for chicken, sign said you get one side and roll. Ordered 4 pieces of chicken and for my side I wanted Cole slaw. That is what I received but without the roll and was charged for the meal. Received order right away and found out why when I got home, chicken was not that hot, Cole slaw was good. Think I will skip going there for a while.
The food has definitely declined in taste! The ONLY thing that saves this place from being a total tear down is those darn potatoes! They are hit or miss but when they on - they are ON! And the roll, kinda hard to mess up the roll but it happens occasionally, lol!
My last visit wasn't quite so good. Normally, my orders have been fresh and delicious. The shack potatoes were burned and taste like they've been sitting out for a while. The roll was hard and stale. The ribs were crusty on top but the meat under was very good as normal. The wing dings were okay. Overall, the meal did not taste fresh. I don't think before going back in the near future.
My first time ordering food from Chicken Shack. I was dissappointed by the price I paid for 9 pieces of chicken, potatoes and cole slaw. I like crispy skin but my pieces were salty. The breast was overcooked, cole slaw was not tasty at all. Please get KFC recipe. I enjoyed the potatoes.
We stopped in one night after work to order ribs and broasted potatoes they were so good and the ribs were on point I am definitely coming back here they are on the pricey side but it's worth it
Service is good, but they overcook/dry out the chicken here. It's happened on several occasions. Defeats the purpose of the cooking technique.
Chicken shack has been a part of Livonia for almost 12 years and today was our first time trying it. I must say the place was super clean inside, we were greeted with big smiles and everyone was very helpful who worked there ? we really weren't in the mood for fried chicken so we ended up trying the fried cod meal deal with home style potatoes and Cole slaw. The fish was perfectly broasted and not greasy at all, although it could have used a little seasoning ( according to our taste buds ) The potatoes and coleslaw were pretty good as well. All in all it was a good experience and a good value for the money ✌️?
Food is always fresh and well prepared.Plus the place is always immaculately clean which is saying a lot for a greasy for establishment!The staff is friendly and hard working. It's an all around great place! Well worth the price!
There is 3 people working. Michael, my server is very polite. He smiled while taking my order. I may have missed the rush. This food is has always been waiting for.
