Margarita pizza 6/10
It was the first time trying Detroit-style pizza for two of us, visiting family in Livonia. We ate the carryout order at home and found the pizza fresh and tasty. The breadsticks were flavorful, as well, so I would definitely recommend Buddy's!
Locals must love it, was packed. Sat at the bar, had a couple draft beers, antipasto salad, and a 4 peice spicy Italian pizza(wasn't spicy).We've had better. Probably won't return.
Service at the best , cocktails second to none. Sat at Bar and learned sooo much about the people ,Donate Life and trials and tribulations of life since COVID..???✝️?
One of the best pizza places and the in building dine in service was amazing and fast with very friendly staff. Definitely going back more often to this location. This is a must go if you're a fan of Detroit pizza
I ordered the Spicy Italian 4 Sq pizzia & Chicken Tenders with Marinara Sauce. I try to try a new pizza everytiime I go to Buddy's Pizzia.The Chicken Tenders were nicely breaded. With the marinara sauce they remind you of Chicken Parm. Pizza was awesome.
Sad to say that I was born and raised in Detroit and it's been a hot minute since I've had Buddy's. I took My Queen to the Livonia location on Plymouth Rd. Amanda was our server and bartender as well. She was very knowledgeable and selected for me a nice IPA. She was very polite and hospitable. I was very impressed that she did NOT write everything down as she memorized it and also observed her take a 6 top order in the same fashion. As a former server of almost 15 years I was impressed. As far as the salad and pizza went... Very very good. Cooked to perfection with a nice burnt cheese crust. We had the 4 square with old world pepperoni half pineapple half roasted red peppers and an antipasto salad. Delicious! Give them a try we were there around 1130a and was filling up quickly on a Thursday.
I've loved buddy's ever since I was a kid. I grew up going to the one on Northwestern Highway. No matter which Buddy's you go to, you always get the same great deep dish detroit style pizza. I either get plain cheese or the old world pepperoni. No complaints. Great service at the carry out window.
Loved the pizza but wish they had garlic powder or some Italian seasoning to put on it. Very buttery crust nice and crunchy outside and soft inside. Sauce tasted great.
The pizza is always made fresh and the mac and cheese is delicious. The staff is amazing and very kind and helpful. Our server Jessica checked on us multiple times throughout our dinner.
