My 1st time eating here was HORRIBLE! Ordered the fish and chips to go..Batter was completely not done, and the fries were NOT loaded fries, as I ordered..Manager said he would make it right. He was very nice. I stopped in today, (Wednesday)to get my replacement. I ordered the burger with bacon. I asked for WELL DONE! Got it home, looked at the burger. It was so red inside, totally NOT done, as I stated, and it had 2 small pickles that had been bitten in half. You could see the teeth marks on the pickles! I am totally traumatized from their food, and I must say, I will NOT ever come back. I had to throw both meals away when I got home. This isdefinitely NOT the place to go for their food.
I had Christian as my bar tender and let me tell you, he was the best bar tender i’ve ever seen in my life. He was so attentive to me and the other customers there as well. I asked him questions about the place and good food/drink options and he gave me a small list of his favorites and explained them in the best way possible. I ended up going with the porch pounder (which by the way was really yummy) and a drink. Christian made the drink very well and was good company while I was there. Thank you for the amazing service I will be back again.
My friend called here twice to make a reservation for her retirement gathering and was told she was all set. When we got there they said there was no reservation and the lady just was not interested in trying to accommodate us at all. She refused to seat us even though there were many table available because they couldn't put the remaining tables together. Do go here.
I came in for a lunch date with my friend and it was the best. Katie the bartender was so kind and patient. She read me the whole menu and gave me the best suggestions. Her customer service was the best.
Came here on Easter Sunday and had a wedge salad with blackened salmon. The salmon was amazing and the best I ever had! John and Darius were the cooks. Brittany was tending bar and took great care of me. One of the best places around and I come here all the time.
I really love this place and every time me and my partner go to Laurel Park we happen to stop in.The reason I only gave them four stars though is because their brunch menu. I had it last week and I must say the food was underwhelming. I won’t say it wasn’t good but seasoning goes a long way. Also, they were out of pretty much everything. The regular menu they have is really good and if I happen to ever go during brunch again I’ll just have the regular menu.
Evan is a really good chef who takes pride in his food and it shows! The wait staff is friendly. Best mac n cheese i had in a long time! The decadent chocolate cake is my favorite.
Went on Saturday night around 8:30pm or so. Welcomed warmly and sat promptly. Took about 5-6 min for the server to come over, but we could tell they were in the weeds based on how fast they were running around and how many dirty tables there were.Got our drinks, waited for our food…waited for our food, and waited. Took about 1 hour to get our food once we ordered. Once it came out, one of the items was wrong so the server kindly took it back to get what we needed fixed on it. It was brought back out by someone in the kitchen. She was wearing a red shirt and boy was she not happy. She dropped off at the table with a disgusted look on her face and a lot of attitude. The server came and apologies and said everyone is just angry tonight. I could see at least the servers were trying hard but there was no excuse for the attitude that we got from the kitchen. Food ended up being very ok and by time it was all said and done, we were just ready to get out of there.Servers were trying there best but clearly there was no support behind the bar, front of house, or back of house to help them. Hopefully this was an off night but this was definitely not a great experience.
If you are in the area this place is well worth the visit. The bar staff and the food are exceptional. Very enjoyable and easy to talk to. A much welcomed retreat while in travel. Cheers...
Nice looking inside, friendly staff. The fried pickles are really crispy - and tasty! However…The rather gentile ambiance of the place is literally destroyed by the noise level. They have great food concepts but the exceedingly poor execution detracts from the experience. For instance, burgers ordered medium well and medium rare were identical - obviously rushed off the grill despite the manager’s claim that all burgers were grilled with thermometers to show the internal temperature - if this were true, medium-rare and medium well would not have presented identically. The “All Nighter” which is topped with a sunny-side egg came with the yolk popped; all of the yolk beneath the parchment serving paper. And our server, though friendly, often seemed to have forgotten about us. To top it all off, we were charged full price for half price items - visit was problematic. Seemed the staff was all new hires - from the manager on down. This would have been a one star if not for the taste of the food. We will, however, not be returning.
