Waitress was very nice. If you're looking for "Flint" or "Detroit" style Coneys, forget it. They only have a chili dog and or chili dog with a little ground beef sprinkled on. And I get the impression that they're tired of people asking for those styles.Don't get me wrong; the place has good food and I'll be back. But if you want a "Flint" or "Detroit" Coney, they don't come close.
Nice employees, pretty good food, but a little pricey. They charge separately for fries with a sandwich and if refills on drinks are included, I've never been offered one on multiple trips. And I notice now the lowest tip option on the credit card machine is 18% rather than 15. Runs into being a $40 or $50 meal pretty quickly.
This place has been around for quite some time and I've always enjoyed the food and service. Recently I took the family out to eat and they loved it too.
Picked a spot to get some quick lunch. Ended up getting breakfast item. Was well made and perfect before getting on a long road trip.
My husband and I went here as a date for our anniversary, reviews we saw were good. We were seated quickly even though they were quite busy. But downside is, our server had absolutely zero hospitality. Seemed like she was just going through the motions. She was very rude with her tone of voice. Our food finally came out and it was cold as it could possibly be. As our waitress brought our food she also brought our check. She tossed it on the table and walked away saying she was going on break. Didn’t ask if we needed anything or if the food looked ok. There were literally 2 pieces of shredded lettuce on my husbands gyro. 2 pieces. Also, how do you go to a Greek gyro restaurant and have to pay extra for the gyro meat? Shouldn’t that just be included with your gyro? It’s the whole point of the restaurant. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
I absolutely love Zeus's Coney Island. I go there frequently and I always have very good food. And their prices are really reasonable too. The wait staff is always nice and do a great job.
The breakfast is fantastic. You get great portions at a good price. Our waitress was busting her butt and was still extremely pleasant. I highly recommend Zeus's for breakfast.
Food is good but this is the second time I had a lamb gyro in my bag rather than the chicken. One I ordered . So I called to complain was told I would get a refund when I got there the manager was hit happy someone told me that. Not my issue all I wanted was my money back as promised at this point. I don't eat lamb I ordered and paid for a chicken gyro supreme. Called immediately and the guy already knew they gave me the wrong order that's why a refund was offered. They also offered to redo my meal but NO after y'all have made this same error twice I will keep my business and my coins. So anyways went to get my refund today and was made to feel like crazy had to hear about why and how this is not normal policy then asked 100 questions. Didn't appreciate it and will NEVER go backs and I'm greedy with money so in the words of Julia Robert's In Pretty woman "big mistake, like huge major"
The food is great and the servers friendly. Unfortunately they impose a 3% penalty if you don’t pay with cash . So, be sure to check your bill if you’re paying cash so you don’t get nicked. It’s unfortunate that they chose to use a credit card penalty instead of a more positive sounding cash discount.
Zeus has a sign that there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. When checking my bill, they had already added the surcharge. When I went to pay with cash, THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE CHARGE!! I had to ask them to remove it! For me it was only 30 cents, but by the tine they charge everyone, the amount they make adds up!! BUYER BEWARE. On the other hand, the service was great and the food was delicious!
