My son ate almost all of his cheese fries. He’s four and can be quite picky so it was amazing he loved them! I got the jalapeño chicken brioche sandwich and it was delish! The regular cinnamon roll and chocolate roll were so tasty! I love how they’re not over sugary. Overall I had a lovely time and the rewards program is so generous. We are also enjoying the beanie!
So good! My boyfriend and I are trying this place while visiting to see Hamilton. The best brisket I’ve EVER had. Also the Oreo donuts are like state fair fried donuts, but better! We came back the next day for seconds and tried the coney dog and pancake breakfast burrito. The latter was a little too bready for me but my bf enjoyed. Definitely come here! They also gave us free cookies for our first visit, coconut and snickerdoodle. Amazing.
Delicious food, friendly service.I ordered online and picked up at the drive through window. The food was prepared quickly and the employee working the window was very friendly, we had a nice conversation about their food and their business. She even gave me a vegan cookie to try (the chocolate chip cookie was great, soft and tasty.) The burger and fries I ordered were both fantastic. I had the burger that has both a patty and the "brisket" on it, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The fries were crinkle cut and were just the right amount of crispy. I will definitely be back.
I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.
Super nice people all around! We got the “chicken” sandwiches and the sauces that came with it and the vegan cheese were delicious! I also couldn’t believe their cookies were vegan because they were so good (I’m not 100% vegan but try to eat plant based). Overall, their food tastes and feels really really good. As others have expressed, it is a little pricey for the serving size but that’s to be expected in a pioneering restaurant and once you taste it, you won’t mind at all! :)
My daughter is experimenting with vegan so wanted to try Veg-n in Old Town, Lansing. I got a burger, she got a veg brisket burrito. Both excellent, tasty and surprisingly well-textured “meat” on the burger. I gave half the burger to my husband, not telling him it was vegan. He said it was one of the best burgers he’s eaten - then I told him about the ingredients. He was very surprised how good tasting. My daughter’s burrito was also wonderful and worth every bite. We’ll likely order burgers on occasion to take home and supplement with veggies on the side. Lovely people and restaurant.

the food was amazing! and the person who was working the window was so sweet, she gave me a free cookie, definitely added to such a positive experience. everything was customizable, and they had vegan food i didn’t even know existed like vegan brisket. it was so nice to be able to look at a menu and know i am able to eat anything!
Phenomenal service! The chili dog blew my mind with how perfectly prepared it was. We also tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich, again so good! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisped on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. They are doing vegan food right!
I had the opportunity to get food from Veg-N while in East Lansing for a conference. The food was so good; I had to stop there on the way home. You need to try this place out. Along with the excellent food, the service was helpful with the menu as a new guest, and the service was also fast.
